Beautiful studio apartment in Pimlico {MW1}

This was a wonderful apartment to call home for several nights in London. Conveniently located a short walk from Victoria station, we found it was a quick walk to many sights, catch the tube, and easy to get to the airport. The neighborhood had several dining options, a grocery, and pubs nearby if you did not feel like venturing out too far. The flat itself had everything we needed and was very comfortable for two people. Our host met us upon arrival and was accessible if needed during our stay. Overall, it was a nice place and we would stay again.

I rented this apartment for six nights while traveling in London. What attracted to me to this apartment was it's location--it's located conveniently near Victoria Station and catching the tube, train, and/or bus is only a five minute walk from this location. The neighborhood is a mix of up-scale residences and hotels. I am a female who was traveling solo and never felt uncomfortable walking around at night. Overall, the apartment was as listed. However, there are some "quirks" that other reviewers have mentioned including no table or counter in the bathroom to put toiletries on (not sure why there is a cloth chair in there instead), no electrical outlet in the bathroom, and no sizable toiletries like soap, shampoo, conditioner (they provided a small, hotel-size bottle of soap and shampoo so I had to purchase these things and left the shampoo there for others to use). They give you a hand towel and a bath towel (one each) but not a wash cloth. If you want clean linens you will need to do laundry and use the drying rack provided. I'm a light sleeper and had issues with traffic noise from the street, which could be heard all night (the bed is next to the window), and the street lights due to the lack of black-out curtains. I admit I had to wear ear plugs and an eye shade each night in order to sleep. In sum, the location and neighborhood are great. This apartment serves as a good home base for one person or a couple. The kitchen is basic, but does the trick. The bathroom is not a deal-breaker. If you need a quiet, dark environment to sleep you may need to find other accommodations or bring the necessary sleep aids.

Property is in a great location, about a 5-10 minute walk to the Victoria Underground and train station. We ate at some great restaurants in the area.

While it didn't bother us, the stairs down to this large basement studio are a little steep. That said, we highly recommend this property.

We were looking to stay close to the Victoria train/bus/tube area. It was an easy walk to all from this flat (including the theaters for Wicked and Hamilton and others)! A few blocks in multiple directions were places to eat, drink and shop. The flat itself was as described. Jan reached out a couple of times to ensure we had everything we needed. We had a very comfortable six nights there and would stay there again!

Great location....close to Victoria station. Apartment was very comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Would stay here again. A couple suggestions....the bathroom floor can be slippery especially stepping down into shower....a shower Mat would be a good idea....the small mirror in bathroom is hung to high on the wall to be used unless your a very tall person....maybe a larger mirror on that wall would make it more useful
