This corner apartment is located just steps from the sand and the inviting Pacific Ocean. A world of unique character lies within easy walking distance in every direction.
The combined sleeping/living area has a queen-sized bed, full size chest of drawers, and comfortable sofa. A wall mounted flat screen HDTV with cable and wireless internet lets you keep in touch and up to date. The polished wood floors lend a warm, inviting feel.
The tidy kitchenette has a four-burner stove, refrigerator, new counter top and a large stainless steel sink with a beautiful glass mosaic backsplash. Relax in the large shared ocean-view courtyard, or take a stroll along the world renowned Ocean Front Walk. Soak up the unique atmosphere of this legendary stretch of boardwalk. Street performers, vendors, shops, and one-of-a-kind boutiques abound. Stop at one of the many open-air cafes where you can sit and people-watch to your hearts content. Take a romantic walk along the shore as the sun dips into the blue Pacific, or just bask in the warm California sunshine.
Rent a beach cruiser and ride along the bike path, which stretches from the Santa Monica pier through the Marina, all the way south to the charming little town of Playa Del Rey with its own distinctive restaurants and shops. Explore the diversity of Venice from the restaurants, shops, and galleries of Abbot Kinney to the exclusive residential enclave of the Venice Canals, the last remnant of Abbot Kinney’s dream of Venice in America.
This budget-minded loft is located in the heart of Venice, a community known for its bohemian vibe and laid-back attitude. Be advised that this is an active urban scene where you will hear millionaires converse with transients and artisans at all hours. You may spot one of the dozens of celebrities that live in the area, or see a drum circle form on the beach at sunset. You will likely hear some of the din of the community from your loft. The building itself is reminiscent of a surfer's den from Venice's days as a surf-and-skate mecca, complete with a skate ramp and decommissioned lifeguard tower on the front patio!
As with most properties along the California coastline, this property is not equipped with air conditioning; average coastal temperatures range from 65 to 75 degrees year round. On warmer days just open the windows, turn on the ceiling fan and let the refreshing ocean breezes keep you cool and comfortable.
Come and experience the incomparable Venice lifestyle and get a taste of authentic Southern California beach living.
The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.
The apartment is super cute and one building from the beach. I would not recommend it for a single woman (like myself) because the next door neighbor is very hostile. He is a permanent resident and he resents the visitors who come.
