About the property

Waverley Reach is a fabulous holiday home in Hamble with flexible accommodation (up to 10 people) making it ideal for families, sailing crews and large groups. Walking distance to the marina and a fantastic selection of public houses, restaurants, coffee shops, boutique / gift shops and a Co-Op.

The large split level kitchen/diner is fully equipped perfect for cooking and socialising. The dining table seats 10 people. The living room has a log burner, perfect for chilly evenings. There is also a playroom.

There are three bathrooms: one ensuite with loo, bath and separate shower, 1 family bathroom with loo, bath and shower over the bath, 1 bathroom (accessed via the playroom) with loo and shower cubicle.

There are five bedrooms:

Bedroom 1 (sleeps 2 people) - Can be set up as a Super King bed or two singles - with ensuite;

Bedroom 2 (sleeps 1 person) - single bed;

Bedroom 3 (sleeps 2 people) - Can be set up as a Super King bed or two singles

Bedroom 4 - (sleeps 2 people) - Can be set up as a Super King bed or two singles;

Bedroom 5 - (sleeps 2 people) - Bunk bed.

There is also a sofa bed in the playroom. This is a double sofa so would really only sleep one adult, or two children.

Our property has free of charge WIFI, televisions in Bedroom 1, living room and playroom, a washing machine and tumble dryer available to use (free of charge). If you are travelling with young children we can also provide a travelcot and a highchair. There are stairgates fitted to the two steps in the split level kitchen/diner.

Great sized property, with perfect layout for 8-10 people

We stayed in this property for my friend's hen weekend. We wanted somewhere that would allow us to congregate together comfortably and this property was great for this. The open plan kitchen is good for meals together and the lounge is a perfect size to relax in afterwards. All the bedrooms are on the same corridor allowing everyone to feel involved. Hamble-Le_Rice is a cute little village for a wonder around on the way to the marina.

I would recommend this property for groups looking for a chilled out location for a relaxed gathering or for a family group.

Beautiful home from home!

Beautiful bright house with lots of rooms for a big family gathering. Good size kitchen. Great big dining table for board games and a cosy lounge with large TV with Netflix. Play room is slightly cooler so take warm pjs if anyone sleeping down there. Walking distance from pretty marina, small Coop and pub. Owner is incredibly friendly and responded very promptly to any queries we had. We are already planning our next get together!

Good house in a lovely location

Great house in a lovely location and pretty village. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is because the interior of the house is rather worn and could do with updating. Would also be useful to have leaflets and info about the house itself (where everything is) and what there is to do and see in the area. Relied on the internet to organise activities. Otherwise we had a lovely stay and the house and garden itself was good for us and the kids.

Excellent accommodation

I stayed here over the May bank holiday with my sons and their families - 5 adults and 4 children. We all found the house spacious with many DVDs and games available. The beds and bedding were exceptionally comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of cupboard space. Melissa was extremely helpful with a couple of queries we had whilst settling in. I would recommend it without hesitation.
