Description

Photos and Description of this 2 bedroom holiday cabin in Snoqualmie Pass - Summit at Snoqualmie A-frame

Welcome to our cozy cabin! Even though you are across the street from Summit at Snoqualmie Ski Area and an hour from downtown Seattle, you'll feel like you're tucked away in the woods.

There is a small bedroom on the first floor with a queen sized bed, a comfortable sleep-away queen-sized couch in the living room, and a bedroom upstairs with two twin beds. There are two fold-out twin beds on the upstairs loft landing. The upstairs is a great kid-zone and is fairly loft-like. There are stairs leading upstairs, but they are narrow and can be climbed like a ladder.

The living room is open-concept, with a kitchen in one corner and a wood burning stove near the ceiling to floor windows.

There is a full bathroom with a shower/tub and washer/dryer on the first floor.

We are right across the street from Summit Central ski area, but because we are tucked away from the road, it feels like we are in the middle of the woods! Walking distance to the base at Central and even closer to Central Express. The big a-frame windows have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains on a clear day, and an equally beautiful view of surrounding trees during low visibility.

Parking is available in the summer. When there is snow on the ground, you can park in the overnight lot across the street and walk about 100 yards to the cabin.

A shuttle runs to all of the Summit at Snoqualmie areas, from Hyak to Alpental. Close to the Nordic Area and walking distance to the Tubing Center. Not much need to move car once you get here when The Summit is open.

Please treat the house as if it were your own. This is not a corporate-owned condo, it is our family cabin, and we want you to enjoy it as such.

Dogs are welcome, but please keep them off of the furniture and clean up as needed.

No smoking, please.

About Audra

We are Audra and Jered, a couple who live in Seattle with our nine-year-old daughter and seven-year-old dog. We enjoy snowboarding in the winter and all sorts of outdoor stuff in the summer. We have family in Colorado, and usually try to explore the western US in our Westfalia some time during the summer months.

Audra purchased this cabin in 2014

Great mountain cabin

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! Everything was in order, no problems or surprises. Clean towels were provided, and the cabin was nice and tidy. There is a washer/dryer combo, coffee maker, dishwasher, stove/oven, so we had everything we needed. The cabin is surrounded by firs and pines, and is perched on the mountain side - very nice. Visitors who may have some mobility impairment should be aware that the stairs leading up to the top bedroom are very steep, so I suggest that the youngsters use that one.

Thanks to Audra for a great stay!

Absolute Bliss!!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed at this property for our anniversary, and it was worth every penny!! Although it was cloudy with light rain for most of our trip, the views and scenery were amazing. This a-frame is VERY well appointed, just about everything you'll need is available. The interior is tastefully done and the beds are cozy. The only problems we had were starting and keeping a fire going. The wood stove is fairly small and we didn't have the foresight to hunt down shorter pieces of wood. Absolutely not worth losing a star over, however, due to the central heating and the time of year! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan on re-booking in the future!

Cozy cabin in an amazing location!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great two night stay at this cabin in Snoqualmie Pass! The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and when we had a question, Audra got back to us immediately. The view of the mountains from the windows is amazing as you sip tea in the morning. We did a local hike and went down the street to Dru Bru for some local conversation and beer. Would definitely recommend!

Great little cabin!

  • 4 of 5

My friends and I had a great stay at this cabin. We wanted a weekend away to go tubing and enjoy the mountains and I literally don't think there's a house closer to the tubing station. The house was updated and cute but still had that "cabin" feel. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook and there was plenty of firewood. Would love to come back here in the spring/summer!

Great getaway!

  • 4 of 5

We had a very nice time at this cabin. This is a great location and only about 45 min from Seattle. If you like nature and adventures, this is for you. We were there in the winter time. There was a lot of snow. It was true winter wonderland. The cabin is right across the Central ski area. Just go across the road and parking lot, go up the hill and you are in the ski area. We went hiking and snowshoeing and of course skied. The cabin is comfortable, has everything you need. The wood burning fireplace kept the place warm during the day and evening. There was plenty of fire wood. At night, we did not tend to the fire, so it got cold a bit by morning, but it was 15 degrees outside. As soon as we started the fire though, it got warm pretty fast. The owner is great. She responds very quickly to emails and returned our deposit in a timely manner.

I would like to go back in the summer time and do some hiking. I recommend this place.

Little gem in Winter Wonderland!

  • 4 of 5

If you like the outdoors and enjoy rustic places, this cabin is for you. We stayed there for New Year. Such a cute place. Great location. 45 min from Seattle. We had a great time. There was so much snow. True Winter Wonderland. The view is amazing from the living room. The place is cozy and has everything you need. It is right across from the ski area. You cannot go wrong with the location. Just put your ski boots on and walk right over. The owner is great. She responded yo all my emails right away. The place was neat and clean when we got there. It was also warmed up, which we really appreciated given the 15 degrees outside. We will definitely rent it again. Would be fun to rent it in the summer time and go hiking.
