Very spacious 2 bedroom ground floor apartment with main street entrance.

This ground floor self catering apartment is situated in an ideal location. It is only 11 miles from Glasgow Airport, 20 miles from Glasgow and 5 miles from Loch Lomond.

A mere 300 yards from the property you will find Dumbarton East railway station where you can take a direct train to Glasgow, Edinburgh or Balloch. You will also find numerous eateries within 5 minutes walking distance.

This newly refurbished tenement apartment benefits from free on street parking, its own private entrance and free wifi. It sleeps up to 5 people within 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king sized bed with a single sofa bed, and the second bedroom has two single beds. All beds are very comfortable and feature sumptuous down like pillows and duvets. High quality Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels are provided for all guests.

There is a separate living room with a flat screen smart TV through which you can access Netflix, Now TV, BBC iPlayer and other streaming services using our free high speed wifi.

The kitchen is spacious and well equipped with all cooking essentials, as well as benefiting from a dining table and dishwasher.

You will have access to the full apartment, which features a private entrance from the street on the ground floor.

We live very nearby and will be available for any urgent help that you may require during your stay. We will check you in in person and then leave you to it.

Guests will be provided with essentials such as tea, coffee, sugar and a fresh pint of milk in the fridge. We also provide basic toiletries should you require them, such as toothpaste, shampoo and shower gel.

There are many shops, pubs, restaurants, travel links and tourism activities nearby. Some of our favourite parts of the neighbourhood include:

- Dumbarton East Rail Station: less than three minutes walk from the apartment with direct links to Glasgow and Loch Lomond.

- St James Retail Park: all major supermarkets and fast-food chains available less than five minutes walk from flat.

- Shops: less than one minute walk from flat you can find our local co-op and corner shop for any snacks, alcohol, quick meals and essential supplies you may need.

- Wallace Street: the street itself is very quiet with ample on-street parking at the flat's doorstep. It is a long, wide, traditional street with most buildings over 100 years old.

Loch Lomond is a stones throw away, boasting some of the best views the UK has to offer, wonderful for photography enthusiasts! The list of activities to partake in around Loch Lomond are endless, but they include kayaking, taking a trip on the famous sea plane, horses riding, nature walks, visiting our sea life centre and historical monuments, biking, Go Ape ariel assault course and lots more!

The Wallace Apartment is less than a five minute walk to two different train stations which have direct lines to Glasgow City Center (25 mins) and Loch Lomond (10 mins).

I bought this property in 2009 as a complete refurbishment project, and lived in it for three happy years. Everything is within walking distance, such as the train station, laundrette, co-op, bank machine, take-away shops, restaurants, ASDA, McDonalds, etc... but at the same time, it's a very quiet and peaceful street.

What makes this apartment unique

Here are some things you are guaranteed to love about your stay here:

1. It's a main street entrance, on the ground floor. Quite rare for an apartment!

2. We use the finest Egyptian cotton bed linen and down-like duvets and pillow. A comfy night's sleep is the most important thing!

3. The grand mirror and table in the hall way... you will love the practical aspect of having a huge mirror in the hallway, but enjoy the beauty of it too!

4. You can walk to practically anywhere for anything that you need within five minutes. Shops, pubs, laundry, restaurants, tourist attractions, football stadium, etc...

  • Both bedrooms have extremely comfortable bedding and mattresses. Furthermore - both bedrooms have blackout blinds, shutters and curtains. The master bedroom includes a HUGE walk in wardrobe for you to store all of your things. The twin bedroom includes a chest of draws and clothing rail, along with two bedside table to store your belongings.

Close to Loch Lomond

Clean accommodation really close to shopping. We wanted a location central to Loch Lomond, Stirling and Glasgow without being in a big city. This fit the bill!

Gemütliches, sauberes Apartment

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Besonders haben uns die bequemen Betten und auch zwei sehr bequeme Sofas gefallen. Wir fanden Milch, Butter und Toastbrot vor. Das ist auch nicht selbstverständlich. Die Küche ist mit modernen elektrischen Geräten ausgestattet. Es gab allerdings nicht sehr viele Küchenutensilien und nur sehr einfache Töpfe.
