NEIGHBOURHOOD

Quiet area with great local amenities, including shopping centres and restaurants.

There are 3 large supermarkets 5-10 minutes walk and grocery stores, restaurants and amenities all less than 5mins walk.

Colindale is in North West London and is local to many popular points of interest, including, Wembley Stadium & Arena, Camden Town, Hampstead, St Johns Wood and Primrose Hill.

There are many parks in the area, each with a large green space and a dedicated play area for children.

The area is safe and the neighbours are very friendly.

GETTING AROUND

Colindale station offers quick access to Central London (25 mins) and other popular destinations such as Camden Town (15 mins) and Hampstead (10 mins). Trains are very frequent (every 3 mins).

Many buses operate in the area. Popular destinations include Wembley (83 bus), Brent Cross Shopping Centre (142), Watford (142) and Kilburn (32).

For taxi’s, Uber operate in the area. They are cheap and usually available within minutes.

There is good access to London Airports. The apartment is very close to Heathrow and Luton by Taxi. There is a direct overground train available from Gatwick to Hendon Station (60 mins).

Great space, clean, close to everything we need!

The flat was perfect for our little family of 4, with kitchen & clothes washer in kitchen we could close the door and not wake anyone. Street parking was fine. Overall a great space! Simon was easy to work wth too!

Good Apartment

Clean, tidy and new. Easy to either cook at home or eat out. Close to bus and train transport once you worked out where you wanted to go. Good reasonably priced restaurants nearby and supermarkets are a 10-15 minute walk.

Would stay again.

Great stay. Newly renovated, spacious and comfortable.

The apartment was very nice to stay in, lots of room, newly renovated and very clean. Plenty of space for a few days stay. All the amenities including a washing machine. Check in and out is very easy. It is located in a residential area in zone 4, so taking the tube into London central takes about 40 minutes depending on where you are going. The walk to the station isn’t long but I wouldn’t recommend you bring your bags yourself unless they are easy to carry. Overall great stay.

Good value

This apartment is spotlessly clean with modern appliances and new furniture. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice having a telly in the bedroom to watch the nightly news. Simon was easy to communicate with and we had no problem getting into the place. We missed not having a coffee maker or a toaster, as they would really help in getting our day started. It would also be nice to have written instructions readily available for some of the appliances as they are not familiar to North American guests. Edgware is a bit further out than we thought, but we could be in London central within an hour, including a 15 minute walk to the tube station. Camden Town and Hampstead are great spots to visit in between Simon's place and the city. All in all, this apartment satisfied our needs quite nicely.

Eine Woche London

Ruhig gelegenes Apartment auf der mittleren Etage am Ende einer Sackgasse. Für 2 Personen ausreichend Platz. Zu Dritt oder Viert wird es schon sehr eng. Der Weg zur Colindale Station sind ca. 15 min zu Fuß. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es genug in der direkten Umgebung. Ebenso ein Pub und FastFood, wenn man nicht selber kochen mag. In der Küche ist ein Rauchmelder, der leider beim Öffnen der Backofentür anschlägt, aber zum Glück selbstständig wieder aus geht. Und es gibt keinen Toaster. Sehr gutes WLAN. Für einen PKW ist Platz direkt vor der Haustür.
