Our cabin is situated in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. On the tranquil Trawsfynydd Holiday Village. With stunning mountain views, outdoor decking with table and four chairs, private garden and off road parking for one car. We are pet friendly and you are welcome to bring along two dogs.
The cabin is double glazed and heated all year round. The inside comprises of large open plan lounge with comfortable seating for four. Coal effect electric fire. Dining table and four chairs and fully equipped, modern kitchen.
All beding and towels are provided with the beds made up ready for your arrival, we also provide a basic welcome pack which includes 'hotel style' tea coffee sugar etc.
36" HD/LCD TV with freeview and DVD player.
Some books, DVD's, board games and a few children's toys are provided to beat the boredom on rainy days.
There is a small shower room comprising of shower, hand basin, toilet and heated towel rail as well as electric wall heater.
We also provide bathmats and loo roll.
The cabin sleeps four between one double bed and two bunk beds which comfortably sleep adults and children alike. Both rooms have heating and storage.
Outside there is a secure gated decking safer for young children and pets. The decking also has a table and four chairs, with stunning views over to The Rhinog mountains.
Within the village there is a Reception which is staffed from 9am - 5pm daily and comprises of a well stocked shop and off licence, plus laundry facilities. Free WiFi is available within the vicinity of reception until 9pm, with no password required.
There is a large recently refurbished childrens play area with swings, goal posts, climbing frame and baseball net etc.
The village is relatively car free so is safe for children to explore on their bikes or scooters.
The Rhiw Goch pub is just a short stroll away and is full of old age atmosphere, the ideal place to eat and relax with your favourite tipple. The beer garden has a small childrens play area, and is surrounded by countryside with stunning uninterrupted mountain views.
Porthmadog is just a short drive away where you will find an Aldi, Lidl and a 24hr Tesco.
You will never be short of things to do and places to visit as there are lots of activities close by for all ages.
Coed y Brenin the world renowned mountain bike center is just four minutes away on the A470 Ideal for mountain bikers and walkers alike, with trails leading off directly from the village. The local area is considered a walkers paradise. There are no street lights, so no light pollution, a clear night sky is a sight to behold. Snowdonia National Park has just been named as a Dark Sky Reserve, one of only 11 in the uk. A must for any astronomers out there.
There are a number of Blue Flag beaches close by too. Roughly 30 mins away there is Porthmadog, Blackrock Sands and Barmouth. As well as fishing, golf, horse riding, pony trekking, white water rafting to name a few, all close by.
There is a welcome pack in the cabin with local info such as doctors, taxi's etc. as well as suggestions on places to visit and things to do with lots more ideas in reception.
Our caretakers are on hand to deal with most any eventualities. In the unlikely event that you should experience a problem their contact details can be found in the ''Welcome' folder.
