Beautiful town house in central Chichester.

Situated on the edge of centre 39 Cavendish Street is a Grade II listed town house in the perfect position to explore the historic city of Chichester. Whether its romantic getaway or a trip away with the family this newly refurbished home makes for comfortable getaway from the hustle and bustle of the busy high street.

Upon entering this quaint cottage you will find yourself in the comfortable recently refurbished living area. A Smart TV setup with Netflix and freeview is available for those evenings in and free Wifi access (superfast broadband) is in place so you can keep connected or simply find places to go nearby while you enjoy your escape to Sussex.

From the living area you will also find a door leading down to the old cellar which has been converted into a second ‘snug' living area or it can be turned into a third bedroom with the use of a ‘sofa bed.'

A further two bedrooms can be found on the first floor, one double bedroom with an en suite shower room and a second double room adjacent. A family bathroom in on the ground floor with bath and shower.

The good sized kitchen is a lovely spot for entertaining with ample room for the dining area. Equipped with everything you need to self-cater during your stay, when not out at one of the many local restaurants you can cook up that special holiday meal with ease , or if that's not your style just use the fridge for chilling that important bottle of bubbly. The kitchen will have cooker, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle toaster and cafetiere.

At the back of the house there is a quaint decked garden with space to dine outside or perhaps enjoy a hot chocolate on a winter's night under a blanket.

Parking is on the road and parking permits will be provided.

39 Cavendish Street is perfectly placed to explore many of the attractions Chichester has to offer. The Cathedral is a sight not to be missed. You can enjoy a tour of the spectacular building or simply wander the beautiful 'Bishop's Gardens'. Chichester has plenty of shops to browse; not only do you have the high street leaders, upon exploration you will find boutique stores with unique gifts and fascinating antique hideaways particularly at the end of West Street and East Street.

From the house you don't have to go far to find entertainment. Chichester's famous Festival Theatre is literally minutes away, tickets can sell out fast, so make sure you take a peek at what will be showing during your stay and book well in advance. Amongst other attractions, there is popular Pallant House Gallery very nearby and the independent New Park Cinema where you can enjoy a bottle of wine and watch the latest film or catch up with your favourite classic.

Around Chichester there are many places to explore and if you don't have a car you can make use of Chichester's excellent rail services. You can get to London Victoria in an hour and a half, travel to Brighton and explore the myriad of lanes in just 40- 50 minutes and perhaps stop off and explore Arundel Castle with it's quaint town along the way.

For travellers who like to go a bit further afield, heading west to Portsmouth you can explore the famous Spinnaker tower, the old 'Spice Island' dockyards and from there make your way to the Isle of White with a ticket to Ryde, by ferry, catamaran or hovercraft! Travelling further west, if you enjoy the history Chichester has to offer you can catch a train to the cathedral city of Salisbury where you will find easy links to tours of Stonehenge.
