PALM TREES farm owes its name to the numerous palm trees that determine the image of the beautiful garden. The house on one level is located near Porto Cristo in a rural residential area with good transport links. Enjoy the tranquility of this property very well designed with high quality equipment.

EXTERIOR

IMAGES 1-5: The pool is surrounded by a terrace with sun loungers and a large lawn. The ideal place to relax!

IMAGES 6-9: Access to the house is from the side of the pool or the entry through a terrace with 131 m2. This area is enclosed with a balustrade. Both accesses have wooden doors. So children can not get to the pool and have plenty of room to play. The large table with canopy can enjoy cookouts at any time of day.

IMAGES 10-11: The entrance to the property is through an electric barrier. Behind it is a large paved courtyard with many flowers. Here are the charcoal grill with oven and a large table. A children's swing is set in a tree. In the entrance area fit 2-3 cars.

INSIDE

IMAGES 12 to 18: The living room and kitchen are designed L-shaped and comprise a total of 47 m2. The fireplace and the many details of the decoration give the place a homey and cozy character. The kitchen is completely equipped. You will not lack anything. Feature: Above the kitchen table for a tap water treated by osmosis. The additional purchase of bottled water is not necessary.

IMAGES 19-21 Bedroom 1 has a private bathroom with a large shower. Access to the room is through the living room.

IMAGES 22-24 Bedrooms 2 and 3 have twin beds. They share the second bathroom with shower, located between the two rooms.

BEACHES

You will be spoiled for choice. Turn right: The small beaches behind Porto Cristo and Cala Aguila, Cala Mandia and Cala Romantica. Turn left: The great beaches of Sa Coma and Cala Millor with a wide range of sports.

PORTO CRISTO

Porto Cristo is a small seaside town with many shops, bars and restaurants of all categories. The famous "Cuevas del Drach" have made known to this people worldwide. The small beach is sandy and slopes gently. The promenade is ideal for walking. The special atmosphere is created by the perfect blend of residents, tourists and residents. From Porto Cristo several tour boats passing along the coast. Holiday prestigious boats are also found here. Sunday is the market with many products of the island. The festivities around July 16 must not be lost in any case.

Lovely villa and pool in the Majorcan countryside

The villa is spacious and cool which is exactly what you want when the weather is as beautifully hot as it was when we were there in August this year. The pool was the nicest we have ever used - lovely and warm and clean, with lots of space around it for the sun beds. The parasols and palm trees provide welcome shade and the gardens are beautifully maintained. The villa is well equipped with everything you need, and the owner and manager made us feel very welcome. There is a lovely shaded outdoor table which we used every day for our meals, and an area at the side for barbecues. There’s a pool table too. Overall, we really recommend this property to you. It’s peaceful, quiet and rural yet just a few minutes away from the resorts. We used the beach at Sa Coma, which was clean and not too busy. You will definitely need a car, as the villa is a drive away from the local shops and the beaches, but the drives from the airport and to the local amenities are easy. This is a great place for a holiday that’s slightly off the beaten track but with lots of things to do close by. Thanks for a great holiday, we hope to return soon!

Approach with caution!!

4 adults & 2 kids stayed here in Jun/Jul 18. When we arrived at the finca to commence our 15 night stay, we were thrilled. The finca was nice but the main attraction was the outside space - including pool and BBQ area. We spent 5 lovely days at the finca and during this time the only issues were the air con not working in the 2nd bedroom, and the hot water running out quickly - both of which were only a slight inconvenience (owner attended to the air con). The pool area seemed like a paradise - with lovely palm trees surrounding the garden.

Upon day number 6, early in the AM, I heard a noise in the grass area and looked over to see a couple of very large RATS running around on the lawn. At first I was horrified but after thinking about it I calmed down - after all the house is in the countryside - perhaps this is to be expected. HOWEVER, I then approached the pool area to undertake the daily pool clean and to my absolute HORROR, there were two large RATS swimming in the pool! This I could not accept - knowing the danger of rats in water and the disease that this can spread, there was no way I could let my 2 young kids back in the pool. I did take photographs of the rats in the pool as evidence to the owner.

After this discovery everyone agreed (except the 2 little ones who has no idea what the drama was about) that we couldn't use the pool again, given the vermin and also the fact that rats are habitual creatures therefore it is likely to be a routine visit. We then informed Marianne (Agent) that we had no intention of staying due to the rats, and whilst we would happily pay for the 5 nights that we had stayed, we politely requested a refund for the remaining 9 as the pool facilities were unusable. This was declined by the owners of the house as apparently it is normal to have rats in the pool in the countryside. This turned into a debate however all of a sudden their English wasn't so good. After the debate, the owner had a very large amount of disinfectant poured into the pool however this did not change our mind so they offered to move us to another house in nearby S'illot. We accepted this offer but were later advised that it wasn't available!! In the end we got 3 nights refund which was a fraction of what it cost us to find alternative accommodation. Literally turned into the holiday from hell - and everyone was incredibly stressed and upset. Owner was entirely unreasonable and unprofessional.

Superb house, perfect for a relaxing family holiday, highly recomended

Recently returned from a wonderful two week holiday at Finca Las Palmeras. The house is lovely, spacious and comfortable, perfect for a quiet, private and relaxing holiday.

When we first arrived at the house we were met by the owner and the managing agent with a warm welcome and given a comprehensive introduction to facilities at the house and detailed information about the local area. It is ideally situated just outside Porto Cristo within easy reach of the town and local beaches, supermarkets and plenty of restaurants.

The house was spotless on arrival and exceeded all expectations; there was plenty of room for our family of five (two adults and three children aged 13, 11 and 7), with a huge garden area and lovely large clean pool. The owner visited daily to feed their dogs, empty the bins and tend to the pool.

The facilities were fist class - it was great to wake up to a proper coffee from the Dolce Gusto machine, fresh water from the tap in the kitchen was excellent, the air conditioning worked well and was needed frequently, internet was reliable and the signal reached as far as the pool area, and we used the barbeque on several occasions.

All in all it was a fabulous holiday, many thanks to Emilia for allowing us to stay at your beautiful house but also to the managing agent who provided great personal.attetion with quick and efficient communication from the point of initial enquiry right through to the end of the holiday.

Sehr schöne Finca mit großem Pool

Alles auf einer Ebene- Vorteil bei Kleinkindern. Ebenso kann der Zugang zum Pool abgeschlossen werden. Aussenbackofen, den wir häufiger genutzt haben. Sehr netter Eigentümer, er kam täglich, die Müllsäcke entsorgen.. usw.

Perfekt ausgestattete, wunderbar gelegene Finca

Das Haus ist in einer Top-Lage zu den nahe gelegenen Stränden und dem bezaubernden, ziemlich untouristischen Porto Cristo. Die Küche ist außerordentlich gut ausgestattet mit allem was man zum kochen braucht und sogar noch mehr ;), wie z.B. der Grill im Garten und der Außenofen, wo man auch Pizza backen kann. Alles ist wunderbar sauber und gepflegt und die Vermieter sind bestrebt das Domizil immer weiter zu perfektionieren, z.B. neue Tischtennisplatte, was die Kinder sehr gefreut hat. Mit dem Manual für Themen wie: Wo gehe ich am besten Essen, welche Strände sind die schönsten, welche Märkte muss man besucht haben und wo kann man am besten einkaufen, sind wir wirklich super durch die Vermieter informiert worden. Auch der Garten mit dem tollen Pool hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Vielen Dank nochmal!

Inmejorable, muy recomendable!!

Hemos estado en la casa la ultima semana de agosto. Es una vivienda nueva, totalmente equipada, a pocos minutos de Portocristo, en un sitio muy tranquilo. La piscina es simplemente genial, y el jardin y el porche, el sitio ideal para hacer vida. Toda la vivienda esta muy cuidada por sus dueños, un matrimonio muy atento, que velan por cada detalle y que han puesto la guinda a una estancia perfecta. Una inmejorable eleccion para unos dias en la zona!!
