A bright and spacious 1 bedroom flat with a Garden in Islington London.

A bright and spacious apartment with a private garden in the charming neighborhood of Islington in London, which is also tastefully decorated to go with its period features. My flat is on Upper Ground Floor (around 5 steps) from the street level. The bedroom has an en-suite and a comfy Kingsize bed. The flat is decorated and furnished to go with it's period features and comes with fully equipped Kitchen, Central Heating,TV, Washing-Machine, Wardrobes, hangers, Iron, hairdryer. I am also providing clean linens and towels. You can also enjoy the high-speed WIFI for free.

The Canonbury and Highbury & Islington metro/underground stations are few minutes by foot from the flat and you get to most tourist attractions in London (Kings Cross, Oxford Circus, Green Park, Shoreditch, Old city (Bank/London Bridge) & Stratford within 10 to 15 mins by Underground/Metro. The Highbury & Islington metro station is also well connected to the most London airports and Eurostar train stations. I will be very happy to assist you with directions and any city tips you may require.

My flat is situated very close to the central London and just couple of minutes from metro stations which makes it easy for the travellers to reach all the major touristic places in less than 20 mins by metro. The neighbourhood is packed with Cafes, Bars/Pubs and Restaurants. Though it's quite central location but area is very green and leafy ... there are couple of nice parks if you like to just chill in a nature.

Great Flat!

My wife and I stayed at this flat for 5 days. Rajat answered all my questions before we got there - coming from Canada and first time visit to London there were many, especially around the transit system. No car rental required. It took 20 mins to get to Trafalgar Square. The flat was clean, spacious and just like home (comfortable!). Rajat provided flexible arrival/leaving times to match our schedule. We couldn’t ask for anything more. I would highly recommend and will stay there on our next visit. Thank you, Rajat!

Agréable appartement dans un quartier (Islington) très agréable et bien desservi par les transports

Dans une rue paisible dont les superbes maisons anciennes sont en cours de réhabilitation, sympathique appartement pour deux personnes, correspondant bien au descriptif. Le propriétaire, Rajat, répond par retour du courrier, et est très réactif.

Très proche de la station de métro aérien Canonbury (avec plusieurs lignes, dont Brick Lane direct à l'est et Kew Gardens vers l'ouest en aérien également via la station de métro Islington Hibury.) Sinon traditional "tube" jusqu'au centre de Londres en direct et très rapidement à partir de Canonbury via le changement de Islington Hibury.

L'intérêt supplémentaire de la station Canonbury est qu'il y a un petit bureau de renseignements très pratique pour acheter et recharger l'Oyster card, la carte de transport.

Nous avons aimé le quartier de Islington Hibury. Belles boutiques, restaurants, un peu comme le downtown d'une ville de province. A noter qu'il y a un autobus qui part de Upper Street direct (le 4?) jusqu'à Waterloo station (entre autres...)

Location, location, location!

This was a great place to stay on our first trip to London. We wanted to see the major tourist sights in the city but not stay right downtown, so we could relax in the evenings and visit local pubs and restaurants in an area where locals actually live. Rajat's flat was perfect for us! There are two small markets about 100 yards down the sidewalk from the front door, along with a wine bar and a nice pub called the Snooty Fox. About 50 yards further is the Canonbury rail station, from which you can easily get anywhere in London. Within a quarter-mile radius are several more nice pubs -- the Alma, Alwyne Castle, and a very nice genuine Italian pizza restaurant, Oi Vita. There is also a laundromat in that same quarter mile radius if you want to use a dryer. The flat is on the ground floor, on a nice tree-lined street -- we loved how walkable everything is. So convenient to so many things. Rajat was a very nice landlord, answering our airport transport questions before we arrived and being very helpful and courteous. A very nice experience for us all the way around.

Great place to stay when visiting London

Super friendly owner Rajat. Answered all my questions quickly and very helpful with recommendations. On the downside, the couch was terribly uncomfortable. I had to stack three of the large cushions on top of each other, otherwise had to roll onto the floor to get up. Nice TV for watching the Royal Wedding, occasionally the picture would pixelate like my cable service at home sometimes does when my cable provider needs to resend the signal. No clear instructions on how to use DVD player. Great washing machine! Loved not having to take a bunch of dirty clothes home. Bed and shower were great! Location super easy to negotiate the overground and the tube. One small problem was the upstairs neighbors who ran up and down the stairs slamming doors at all hours of the night every night. Certainly not Rajat’s fault. Easily fixed wearing noise cancellation headphones to bed. Overall I would stay again, felt very safe at night walking from the overground to the flat. Great base of operations to explore the city without the Central London congestion. Used Uber Eats frequently, top notch delivery service!

Comfortable and well located

Apartment was comfortable and well located with train and bus access nearby. Within easy walking distance to Highbury/ Islington. Well appointed kitchen and living areas. Would stay at this place again.
