You won't find a nicer place for large groups to enjoy all that Sugarloaf has to offer. The condo is huge--over 2900 sq. ft. with 5 bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths--and it has all the amenities you would want such as a hot tub overlooking the mountains, cozy fireplace, well-stocked kitchen, a 55" 4K TV and Wifi!
Nothing beats this location. This luxury condo is conveniently located above SuperQuad so you can ski right down and get on the lift. Most condos at Sugarloaf are located BELOW the base lodge so they require that you take an old, slow chair UP to the base of the mountain. This condo is true ski-in/ski-out.
Our family lives in Newburyport, MA and we love coming to Sugarloaf for skiing, golfing, hiking, and everything else this amazing place has to offer!
Doug Heestand purchased this condo in 2015
Best location on the mountain, lots of space to share it with other families.
Nice house in a great location. Kids absolutely loved the bunk room and access to the hot tub overlooking the trails.
We live in North Carolina but have family in Maine and along the East Coast, so we wanted to plan a family reunion/vacation at Sugarloaf with everyone who could make it. The place was beautiful, better than the pictures show. There was plenty of room for all 9 of us with mix of teens/adults. Some of us went on the slopes and were able to ski in-ski out easily and warm up in the hot tub afterwards. Everyone had their own space to retreat to if they wanted some privacy, but the common area on the main floor was perfect for all of us to eat together and hang out with a cozy fireplace. The "game room" downstairs was a huge hit as we had a competitive foozball and hockey tournament with everyone. Doug, the owner, ,was very accessible and answered questions right away when we were planning the trip and getting details (we didn't have any issues while we were there). We loved our stay and will definitely try to stay here again if we plan another trip to Sugarloaf.
We had the honor of staying in this beautiful condo for the week of Christmas vacation, and even had the opportunity to ring in the New Year. The owners have thought of every detail with a fully appointed kitchen, cozy bed linens and pillows, and even lots of indoor activities for the kids. It is obvious that the condo is well kept and that aspect made it easy to fall right into vacation mode once we arrived. The first thing you notice upon entering is the AMAZING view from the kitchen/living room and back deck. The photos here don't do it justice!!! It's breathtaking and a huge highlight of the condo! Sitting in the hot tub admiring the view was simply fabulous. We loved that it had plenty of seating between the living room, bar area and dining table. A lot of condos that sleep this many people don't have enough room for everyone to gather in one spot, and this condo takes care of that exceptionally well. There are also plenty of mugs, plates and glasses to accommodate a large group for meals which was very appreciated. It was wonderful having the option to ski in/ski out right over to the quad. However, I will note we had a new little skier who found the path over a tiny bit challenging so if you have little ones you may want to take the shuttle over for the first few initial runs before using the shortcut. We were there for the big snowstorm of the season, dropping 23+ inches overnight. The roads and paths were cleared in a timely manner which made navigating fairly easy despite the conditions. The bunk room and living area in the basement make this condo especially nice. It became the kid zone for the week. All of the kids slept together in the bunk room and had a blast playing xbox, board games, watching movies, and challenging each other to hockey games. The condo is very convenient to some of our favorite spots, including The Rack and The SugarBowl. Sugarloaf's New Year's Eve fireworks were visible from the front porch which was a wonderful way to end our trip. The owners are very thoughtful, kind and responsive to any needs or concerns that may arise. They are among some of the best owners we have had the pleasure of working with since becoming VRBO users several years ago. All in all it was an amazing Christmas holiday for us and we hope to have the opportunity to stay in this wonderful condo again very soon. Would highly recommend it to anyone who is considering it.
A great time together in a lovely comfortable home...working with owner Doug a pleasure...we hope to come again!!!
We've stayed in a number of very nice ski rentals at mountains all over North America and this house topped all others. Very spacious, beautifully furnished, fully stocked kitchen and fun game room. Great location right off slope. Highly recommend for large family or multi-family gathering.
