Elegant 3-bedroom home, with dining room, courtyard, garden and driveway parking option. Situated on the 1st floor, with an emphasis on organic amenities and upscale linens and towels. Some guests have said that our home feels as if it were taken from the hills of Tuscany and set down in the Capitol of the USA!

Located in one of the most preferred neighborhoods in DC, this spacious DuPont Circle townhouse rests on a quiet tree-lined street and features fine dining in walking distance. The turn-of-the century home is conveniently near Embassy Row, museums and shopping. Even better, nearby salons and bistros abound.

This is one of several units managed by an experienced host who has been awarded Premier Status on VRBO.

The home is renovated and has 1800 square feet of indoor living space, featuring high ceilings, tall windows and original French doors. Enhancing those quarters are two private gardens: the courtyard for dining alfresco and the patio for conversation around the garden. For extra convenience, there is a washer-and-dryer and high-speed internet available for guest use.

Comfortable contemporary and antique furnishings are accented by eclectic décor. You’ll find the kitchen well-stocked, including a juicer and Vitamix. The dining room opens to the courtyard if you prefer taking your meals under the trees.

The bedrooms are nicely sized and comfortably appointed, the mattresses topped with freshly laundered linens, cleaned just prior to your arrival. The master bedroom overlooks the courtyard, and has an organic king mattress and attached bathroom. The second bedroom is even larger, also with a king mattress, and French doors leading out to the back garden. The third bedroom is smaller and rustic, yet the glass ceiling gives you the thrill of gazing at the stars from bed.

Steps from your front door you will find a corner market and a dry cleaner. Just a few blocks beyond enjoy gourmet restaurants, cafes, theatre and shopping. After dining, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll along Embassy Row with its beautiful mansions.

Minutes away, the subway will transport guests to the most popular sites: the Smithsonian, the Capitol, world renowned monuments and Arlington Cemetery, to name a few. The White House is within walking distance with lovely sites along the way. If traveling with children, so is the zoo.

Cabs, Ubers and bike rental stations are abundant in the area. If you favor your own vehicle, there are two options that can be added to your quote: driveway parking can be made available for up to 2 vehicles, and any number of street parking permits can also be arranged.

What you can expect: It is my aim to provide guests five-star amenities; the same touches that I appreciate when I travel: lodging located in a gorgeous and safe neighborhood, cleanliness, upscale linens and towels, comfortable mattresses, high-speed Internet and eclectic decor.

Beautiful home!

The location is in a safe upscale neighborhood near the Embassy Row, the Metro and lots of dining choices. We also walked to Georgetown from the house. The pictures acurately describe this lovely home with the exception that the yard and court yard are much bigger than I expected- a very nice surprise. Gloria has the home well stocked with dishes and linens. The beds are comfortable and the home has lots of natural light. I would highly recommend staying here. We took the $200 option of parking in the driveway and would certainly do that again.

Perfect spot near DuPont Circle

The flat was more than perfect --- spacious, omfortable, with lots of windows overlooking the gorgeous grounds. We elected for driveway parking, a sound choice, as the neighborhood is very popular and even with a pass street parking might have been a challenge. We would return in a minute, and if we had a smaller party would look at gloria's 1 or 2 minute apartments. Cannot say enough good things.
