Villa Paola is located in Porto Rafael with a large garden that leads directly to the beach of Nelson.
Its structure develops along with all the windows of the rooms that overlook the sea. At the center a large living room with fireplace, the large windows separate it from a cool tavern behind it, equipped with a wood-burning oven and barbeque and carved around a large granite rock; in front of the room, however, there is a large pergola with a breathtaking view and a table for eating overlooking the garden grove that descends and thins out to reach the sea. Finally, the solarium with its deckchairs, the tables for the aperitif and the hammocks for a nap after lunch.
The partition in two areas, at the sides of the central hall, the sleeping areas, makes it perfect to accommodate two families, ensuring both their privacy.
On one side:
1 double bedroom; 1 bedroom with two beds; 1 bathroom.
On the other:
The second double bedroom; 1 bedroom with 4 beds and the 2nd bathroom.
Tvsat, SKY and Wi-Fi.
Thanks to the proximity of the sea air conditioning is useless: the house enjoys a microclimate with light breezes that cool in summer, however each room is equipped with a ceiling fan.
Behind the kitchen in an area separate from the rest of the house, the service area reserved for the waiter consists of a small sitting room with a television set, a 3rd bathroom with a shower and a bedroom with a bunk bed.
The discreet and kind waiter is a very good cook, he knows the house very well and with him you will be free from tasks or surprises related to his management. Its presence will guarantee you a true holiday of rest. Moreover, considering it indispensable for the good maintenance of the house itself and also for the care of the needs of all the guests, its collaboration will not affect the final price of the rent.
The garden consists of a grove of Mediterranean vegetation, and is crossed by paths that intersect each other and take you: now on Nelson's beach, half gravel and half sand and with its long wooden pier; or in a beautiful cove where at sunset to drink a good cold beer; or on a natural rock situated in the center of the garden where you can enjoy the view; or again going up from the sea you go from a romantic shower with warm water that is hidden among the strawberry trees of the garden.
The pier on Nelson's beach can be used for fishing or for getting on and off boats or other boats. The tranquility of the bay in front of the house allows sailing boats and yachts, often also of Vip, to stop off at anchor.
Do not underestimate the unique charm of a holiday on the island even out of season: in autumn, when the tourists disappear but not the beautiful and hot days; melancholy and wild in winter; green, fragrant and flowered in spring.
On a beautiful sunny day without wind the bravest can not resist a dip in the sea, or take the canoes for a trip along the many coves that you encounter going to Punta Sardinia.
And when the wind comes you can always reach Porto Pollo, even by bike, to see the evolution of the surfers, to fly the kites and enjoy a sunset not bad !!
If there is little time, but you want to climb a bit 'with a pair of sneakers, you can reach Porto Rafael from the rocks.
A picnic in the garden or a nice walk to reach the solitary beaches of Cala di Trana or Costa Serena or the Piscine (so called because its small sheltered bays seem to form natural pools) that in spring are colored with big yellow flowers and purple.
How many times, especially out of season, have the dolphins come to our house to greet our guests? ... And always some dad or boy ready to bring the canoes into the water to try to reach them.
Three canoes are always at your disposal for excursions and bird watching.
Do not miss the San Pantaleo market on Friday morning, a trip to the Valley of the Moon, a bike ride to the Maddalena by bike and to the house of Garibaldi.
So much more: horseback excursions; boat rental to visit the Archipelago with the Pink Beach, Rizzoli ... and a Natural Park that is surely among the most beautiful in Italy; from Palau the ferry to La Maddalena; for those who want to reach Bonifacio in Corsica, ferries leave instead from Santa Teresa di Gallura.
We are waiting for you, have a good holiday.
