Photos and Description of this 2 bedroom holiday cabin in Tunbridge

Cozy Cabin On 20 Wooded Acres In Vermont

This cozy log cabin in Tunbridge Vermont is the perfect getaway for a family or a couples retreat. Nestled in the hills of central Vermont by the White River, the cabin is set back off a dirt road on 20 wooded acres with trails, blackberry bushes and apple trees. The large lawn has ample space for games and running around, or just sit quietly and watch the wildlife wander by. A large fire pit is available for s'mores and staying warm on cool nights under the stars. When it is time to go inside there is a TV and DVD player with a large collection of movies to choose from, and wi-fi so you can stay plugged in if you need to. The cabin comfortably sleeps a family or two couples, with a double bed in the loft and a double and a twin in the bedroom.

In the summer their is hiking, with access to the appalachian trail, and fishing, kayaking, and tubing in the nearby White River(10min).

In the fall, just being outside is enough. The fall colors in Vermont are astonishing and should be on everyone's bucket list.

The winter brings Skiing, and from the cabin there are four different mountains nearby. Killington(45min), Pico(45min), Suicide Six(30min), Quechee(30min). There is cross country skiing at Mt. Tom and locally at the Fair grounds. For snowmobilers the Vermont Association of Snow Travellers (VAST) trails run throughout Tunbridge.

Great weekend getaway!

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I rented this cabin for his birthday and it was amazing! Calen was super helpful and was so easy to get in touch if we ever needed to contact. We went in the winter time which was just gorgeous waking up to a snowy white view. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and was so clean and peaceful. We are definitely going to be returning, yet this time in the spring or fall. I highly recommend this cabin for any occasion(:

Private cabin on lovely property

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in these peaceful surroundings at the top of a hill, with a large forest with well-marked trails to walk in. We were surprised to find very few mosquitoes so it was pleasant to be outside. The cabin was well-supplied, comfortable, clean and relaxing.

Cute and relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I absolutely unplugged for a week and completely relaxed. We visited family nearby and enjoyed swimming in the river and eating at local restaurants. We love nature and were happy to see a variety of birds as we drank our morning coffee on the porch. Would have preferred a queen bed in the master, but we managed. Calen touched base with us during our stay, and we appreciated his attentiveness. We would definitely return. We highly recommend the space!!

Remote, Romantic and Remarkable

This little Vermont gem, located amidst dirt roads and rolling pastures is perfectly secluded, yet extraordinarily equipped with all the modern necessities for the best of both worlds. The owners are friendly and extremely helpful. Don't miss this opportunity for a great cabin getaway!

Wonderful cabin to stay in. Everything was clean and ready for me. It was perfect for my dog as she loves to run. It was centrally located so everything was easy to get to. Perfect for families or solo travelers. Breakfast at Chelsea Station was great.
