In Le Marche, halfway between the mountains and the sea (25 minutes), the casetta adjoins our farmhouse with wonderful views of mountains and medieval villages.in a very peaceful area. The large swimming pool (12m) is set in an orchard again with all round views and is shared only with us. The independent casetta was recently converted and is spacious and well equipped for year round living - cool in summer & warm in winter. The bedrooms are generous and the living area is relaxed in summer and cosy in the cooler seasons with a large log fire and central heating throughout. There is a private terrace with shady pergola and barbeque for outdoor meals & full use of the gardens with lounger’s & casual seating to relax & admire the views. Good local restaurants abound & walking is available straight from your door or in the Sibillini Mountains with the beaches & fish restaurants of the coast a short drive away - charming & magical accommodation.

Wonderful Rural Property
This delightful property is a sensitively restored 18th century building. We had use it the three bed roomed self contained unit on the ground floor with a covered terrace just outside. There is a lovely stroll through the garden to a superb swimming pool. The property is well equipped and very comfortable. Madeleine and Tony are on hand in event of any problems. There are full of useful recommendations such as excellent local restaurants. The hilltop views are stunning. It is less than 30 minutes to the coast. Very peaceful but easy access to everything that is needed for a brilliantly holiday.
Thank you so much for this positive review which will help other possible visitors. You were great guests too!
Very relaxing week, beautiful pool
We had a fabulously relaxing week - the pool and garden are huge. The house is lovely, with plenty of outdoor space to sit and eat. Madeleine and Tony are delightful hosts; very friendly and welcoming yet leaving us on our own to enjoy our holiday. Bedrooms are nicely furnished, one has a ceiling fan which was a godsend in the heatwave. Kitchen is small, yet functional. We would definitely come again!
We are pleased you enjoyed your holiday here.
A Rural Paradise
The property is lovely, very clean and well equipped, situated in the rolling hills with acres of sunflowers. The gardens are wonderful and well maintained and the view from the large pool was very nice. Highlight of each day was our swim and watching the swallows dive in the pool to snatch any floating insects.
Our hosts were so friendly and helpful and gave great advice on where to eat and places to visit. Would recommend the market in Porto San Giorgio and the night market at Fermo. Fermo is a lovely town with some great restaurants too.
The only negative would be the road the property is located on. It is very steep and narrow and not for the faint-hearted.
A lovely revue. Unfortunately country roads can be poor and ours is one of the better ones. With a little care it is perfectly manageable.
A wonderfully relaxing place!
This was a delightful spot and the Cassetta lived up to it's description! The pool was beautifully clean and well maintained, as was the house!
Madeleine had certainly gone to town on providing all one would need both in the kitchen and other areas! It was useful to have swimming towels provided as they can take up a lot of space in a suitcase!
Our hosts were helpful when needed but also unobtrusive! there are plenty of good restaurants at Porto san Georgia, and Madeleine and Tony knew of good local ones!
We would definitely recommend this house to anyone seeking peace and quiet, but with amenities nearby, also beautiful scenery! Sue andSteve.
Comfortable and peaceful with spectacular views
The house is located in a beautiful, away from it all location, but it is close to many authentic hilltop towns and villages and there is a great beach within 30 minutes drive. The pool is fantastic, and whilst it is shared with the owners, in fact we really had it to our selves as the owners only used it first thing in the morning before we were up and about. The house itself is a good size with comfy beds and everything you need for cooking etc. As mentioned in other reviews, the owners are very friendly and helpful, but also respect your privacy. Overall we would highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to discover this beautiful part of Italy.
Haven of peace and tranquillity
A spacious cottage set in beautiful mature gardens in verdant Italian countryside. The sea was less than 40 mins away and there were world class sites within range of day or half day trips. It is situated between the sea and the Sibillini hills. Madeleine and Tony were welcoming and had a fund of ideas for trips if asked. The cottage itself had a very restful atmosphere and good outdoor dining facilities as well as a wonderful pool.
The Casetta is in the rolling hilly country between four medieval hill-top villages. Our nearest town is Fermo with its summer antique market every Thursday evening. We are between Macerata (famous for its international opera festival) to the north and Ascoli Piceno to the south: both fascinating ancient towns, not forgetting Offida, a centre of the wines produced in the area. The often snow clad mountains, the Monti Sibillini, part of the Appenines can be seen from the Casetta and can be reached within 45 minutes and the pleasant resorts of Porto San Giorgio and Pedaso with their wide choice of beach side fish restaurants are within 25 minutes.
