In a pedestrian area typical of Collioure, this small very comfortable air-conditioned fisherman’s house carefully renovated in 2011 sleeps 2 and will seduce you with its flowered environment.

First floor: living space with double exposition (East and West) and 3 windows

East-exposed living room with wall-mounted television, DVD player, hi-fi system, leather sofa, French window with 2 m² balcony, table, 2 chairs and views of the sea and Saint-Vincent Chapel.

The West-exposed dining area overlooks a very sunny, quiet and flowered street and is equipped with a table and 4 chairs.

The kitchen is very well fitted: induction, hob, oven, microwave, espresso machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, extractor hood, squeezer, toaster, blender, many storage cupboards for crockery and kitchen utensils.

Indoor stairs lead to the ground floor where there is a bedroom with French window, balcony with sea view, 2x90 cm beds, bedside tables and lamps, cupboards, wall-mounted television, etc.

The shower room is separated, accessible from the corridor and equipped with walk-in shower, vanity unit, wall-mounted toilet and controlled mechanical ventilation.

About Renee Barre

The house is the property of the family for several generations. We renovated it without altering it. All our childhood memories are there: return from grape-harvest, storms, East winds, festive family meals in August, etc.

Relaxing views, quiet and coloured street, changing horizon during the day, the sea is a permanent spectacle whether it is calm or raging when there are East winds.

Perfect cottage

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans votre chalet. C'était bien équipé et avait presque tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Une ou deux choses que vous pourriez envisager: le déshumidificateur (je pense que c'est ce que c'est) dans le sous-sol est assez bruyant et peut être entendu dans le reste du chalet. Il semblait étonnamment difficile de faire sécher les sous-sols à moins de les mettre dans le sèche-linge. C'est dommage (pour nous!) Que la télévision n'ait pas de programmes en anglais. La plus grande difficulté était de prendre les bagages de la voiture à la maison mais ce n'est pas de ta faute! . Mais ce sont des problèmes mineurs - dans l'ensemble c'était charmant et nous reviendrons peut-être un jour si nous le pouvons. Cordialement Howard et Esther Morgan

Exceptional apartment

This is a unique apartment, at the edge of a cliff facing the sea, and on one of the quietest and prettiest lanes in all of Collioure. The apartment is equipped and decorated to a high standard. It is very clean, and the bed linen and towels were excellent. It was highly enjoyable to have breakfast on the balcony, and to listen to the waves in bed at night. Access to a garage is an added bonus.

THIS WAS OUR SECOND STAY AT THIS PROPERTY. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. YOU WOULD BE HARD PRESSED TO FIND A MORE SPECTACULAR LOCATION ANYWHERE. THE APARTMENT HAS EVERYTHING YOU COULD POSSIBLY NEED. THE NEIGHBOURHOOD IS A TOURIST HOT SPOT FOR PHOTO BUFFS. WE COULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY MORE HIGHLY.IF YOU LIKE TO HAVE THE OCEAN AT YOUR FEET COMBINED WITH PRIVACY THEN THIS IS FOR YOU.

LOvely property. It had everything we needed, superb views,quiet location but close to beach.

We were welcomed by Mme Barree and she explained all details of the cottage, supermarket, rubbish collection and appliances. The weather was unusually hot for the time of year but we managed to stay cool in the house with shutters, open windows etc. without using the air-con. provided. The beach is a few minutes away and restaurants with a large choice are numerous.The little town was exceptionally clean with streets being washed daily and rubbish collected daily. The market on Sunday and Wednesday was one of the best I have seen in France. Appliances in the house were very modern. One word of advice regarding travelling if you are travelling from Perpignan Airport by public transport get a taxi from the airport to the station, take the train to Collioure and you have arrived.

Outstanding apartment with wonderful sea views

This apartment is a little gem and has everything a couple could need for a relaxing comfortable stay in a beautiful part of France. We were very impressed with the quality of fixtures and fittings and kitchen equipment. You could not ask for anything more from the well stocked essential food cupboard, the toiletries and the beach seats and towels. Mm Baree was very helpful and patient with my total lack of French and her family were in the house next door to assist us with any issues. There is a huge choice of restaurants and food shops but for me one of the highlights of Collioure is the twice weekly market which is one of the best I had seen in France. The food was superb and there was such a good range of products. There is a choice of beaches to swim from and we enjoyed the dancing in the town square. There are so many places to visit from here from the majestic grandeur of the Pyrenees to historic forts, beautiful valleys and mountain towns and Ceret during the cherry harvest. I would certainly return and have recommended this little house to my friends.Thank you Mm Baree
