Milford on Sea is one of the last remaining seaside villages in Hampshire. Perched on the cliff top, with stunning sea views across to the Isle of Wight, it is a natural beauty spot enjoyed by many at all times of the year. With the New Forest on its doorstep and Christchurch harbour close by, there are numerous activities in the area to suit everyone. Walk along Hurst Spit to Hurst Castle where Charles 1 was imprisoned, go crabbing at Sturt Pond Bridge or spend a day sea-fishing in the waters around the Isle of Wight. Attractions such as Beaulieu Motor Museum, Paultons Park, Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum and the New Forest Visitor Centre are all within easy reach. Despite being a small village, you are spoilt for choice when eating out in Milford on Sea, with everything from award winning high end restaurants to chic bistros and traditional pubs. If relaxing and being pampered are important then the Elemis Day Spa at Shorefields, just a few minutes drive away is perfect.
