A beautiful 1750s cottage in Bradford on Avon, voted by the Sunday Times as the best town to live in 2015, just 5 miles from Bath. The cottage is set up with 2 rooms with double beds, 1 room with a double and a single, and can host 7 people in the cottage. The original wash house for the terrace, has a lovely light and airy studio the garden with an additional king size bed sleeping 2, hence a maximum total of 9 guests. It is cosy, so suits smaller groups well as well.

Perfect bolt hole
We stayed with friends for my wife’s 30th, lovely base to explore Bradford on Avon.
Stayed at this lovely cottage for a weekend as we had a family wedding in Bradford on Avon. Suited us perfectly. Everything you could need was there .
A previous review mentioned the stairs not suitable for children. They are fairly steep, especially near the bathroom and to the top floor but my three Grandchildren aged 4, 5 and 7 managed perfectly with no mishaps!
nice property, stairs very steep and not suitable for children
Lounge area is small for a family to get together in and getting into the bathroom is awkward and the children needed supervision parking on the road but there is a street behind which may be useful.
The property is a workers cottage so is full of character but doesn't have large living areas. Small children do indeed need supervision but we have had many families stay with children from infants through to teens and have loved it and given amazing feedback. I had a family from America with 3 kids stay for 2 months and love it. I think as long as people are aware it is a property from1750 and the stairs are steeper than normal people can decide if they are ok with it or not. We provide stair gates for added peace of mind.
A beautiful cottage which served as a fantastic base for a local wedding
The cottage was great and communication with Teresa was easy. 9 of us stayed here for a weekend when attending a friends wedding at Leigh Park Hotel. The cottage was a perfect base for the weekend and easily walkable to the wedding venue.
Joe, glad it worked out so well for you all. Welcome back anytime!
