We were made very welcome by the owner on arrival to the apartment after we had opted for a transfer to and from the airport kindly organised by Marzia which we would recommend. The accommodation is excellent with a comfortable bed and many extra luxuries that made the stay so wonderful. Marzia provided us with a list of recommended local restaurants, shops and places to visit which was extremely useful. We recommend this property highly for those who prefer a quiet relaxing visit to Rome with a real Roman city feel. It is convenient for transport, local supermarkets and it’s a must for those wishing to visit the Vatican Museum and St Peters Basilica just a simple 8 min stroll down the Via Germanico. In summary a fantastic holiday apartment with owners that really care. If we choose another Roman holiday we will defiantly stay again. Frank & Patricia

Elegant Rome apartment.

An absolutely beautifully decorated and elegant apartment in Rome, is situated in a neighborhood of shops and eateries, and a short walk gets you to the metro. The gracious host, Marcia, made everything so easy. I’d absolutely stay here again when I’m in Rome.

Best place for overall access of Rome!

Marzia and her family live in the building. She greeted us warmly and showed us to our apartment. It was only one floor up but we appreciated the elevator for luggage. Marzia provided a local map and outlined what she felt were must see attractions. The apartment was incredibly furnished and comfortable. We varied from cooking and dining out. Great little places close by to dine and a grocery 100’ from the building. Wonderful shopping was also close by as my wife’s full suitcase will confirm. We are in our 50’s and took one day to walk an 11 mile circle over the time of 9 hours and visited all of the ancient ruins and sites with beverage stops and lunch. We did not need to skip the line anywhere on that adventure and with Google we had the information at our fingertips. Marzia suggested the skip line at the Vatican which was a 10 minute walk. Bless her! She was correct! We booked a reasonable tour online and had another marvelous day. This home is perfect for our needs and had everything we would want. I highly recommend this to anyone going to Roma. I will be sending friends and hope to return one day. Thank you Marzia!

Very modern and clean apartman, Great location

We stayed 5 nights and I can say it was a perfect choice. The apartment is very modern, clean and comfortable (double bathroom!) and all rooms are air conditioned which was essential in July... Apartment house is located in a very safe area and very close to Vatican, city center. Also the Metro station is 5min walk. The property owner Marzia was very helpful and kind. Thank you and hope to return soon :)

Live like a Local

Our 4 weeks were a wonderful experience. Marzia is a great host and her recommendations were terrific. The apartment is in a lovely building with the amenities as listed, close to important sights, in the middle of amazing shopping and dining. We like settling in and being part of a neighborhood and the Prati is a wonderful ‘hood. The only disappointment was the lack of an Oven. We know most people don’t go to Rome to Cook or stay for this long, but we love shopping the markets and having an evening meal “at home” occasionally. We did shop, cook and live like locals! A memorable visit. We’ve visited Rome several times over the years and rented apartments in other neighborhoods, this was our favorite location for feeling like you are not just another tourist.
