My place is unique. It's a place of art in the hearth of Trastevere. An open space in modern style in an antique building. A top floor terrace with plants and flowers where to enjoy your morning espresso. All comforts you can imagine for a flat are provided. And if you love art and space this is the perfect place for you!
My flat is minimal but elegant, spacious and very bright any time of the day. There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one very comfortable sofa-bed and a lot of space all around. The atmosphere of the flat represents my love for art, with the dining room decorated with paintings from the last century, the main bedroom enriched by African decorations and the English guests will notice the chairs that one time used to be in the gardens of Hyde Park. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, with microwave kettle and toaster. There is also a balcony where you can find a washing machine and a water filter will let you choose between still and sparkling water. In the living room you will be able to enjoy a good film watching the TV sitting on a big sofa, that can also be used as a double bed. Upstairs there is a small studio area with desk and chairs where to work on your laptop. Finally, you can find a big terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast in the sun or have a dinner in the warm Italian evenings. I am really proud of my flat and I love spending time here, I hope you'll do too.
The apartment will be entirely at your disposal.
Interaction with guests
I'll be available to give you any help and assistance during your stay. If I can't for any reason, someone from Hostmaker will take care of you. They are a friendly bunch who help me out when I am a little busy.
Trastevere is a very lively area, with many cafes and restaurants around. If you prefer cooking your meals at home, you can find a supermarket and an organic food shop in via San Francesco a Ripa, or in the mornings in Piazza San Cosimato there is a small food market. The area is very central and all the main attractions in Rome are just a bus ride away, but for those who want to enjoy a Vespa ride on their roman holiday they can rent one in Vicolo della Renella.
The unit is located in the very heart of Trastevere (center of Rome) and the whole area is packed with typical roman restaurants and bars.
You don't really need to take public transportations to reach the historical center. But if you really want to, you can either take the bus or the tram (n 8 directed to P.zza Venezia). To reach the airport you can take the train from Stazione Trastevere (you can reach it always with the tram 8). The closest metro is Piramide (metro B). You can reach Piramide by bus (n3 or n3B). If you need to catch a train at Central station, you can get there by metro from Piramide. Anyway, you also use car sharing service: Car2Go, Enjoy. Uber is active as well or simply grab/call a Taxi service.
If you arrive to Rome with the car be careful because you need a special pass to reach the centre, so you will need to leave the car out of the ZTL zone (here is the map: If you have a permit (specific occasion/events, disable people etc) you could park in the street or use this car parking:CIARLAPiazza San Cosimato,
Remember that to park on the street if there are no lines or just white lines, it will be free. If you park on blue line you will need to pay at the machines on the street. It’s 1,00 €/h and it’s free on sunday.
