Cozy cabin in Westfield /Oxford, Wis., with acres of nature … all to yourself!
Relaxation beckons. The silence summons. Nature calls.
Do you hear it?
When the answer is “yes,” retreat to this green getaway, a slice of private paradise surrounded by acres of woods and the creatures that inhabit them.
That’s all … and before long you’ll realize it’s all you need.
• Two bedrooms: one with queen bed, one with two twin beds
• One full bathroom
• Family room with 3 futons, seating and large flat-screen TV with cable and WIFI
• Fully-furnished kitchen with full-size refrigerator, microwave and oven
• Dining room
• Spacious deck with outdoor seating
• Hot tub for up to six people
• In-ground fire pit
• Washer and dryer
• 300-acre Lawrence Lake near by
• Public hunting land and snowmobile trails just minutes away
The tranquility of the trees takes over. Sitting in the six-person hot tub, or around a blazing fire pit, the worries and stresses of daily life disappear. You wanted to get away from it all … and you have.
No need to be bored. There’s plenty of water nearby. Go toss a fishing line, or launch your boat. Like to move around? Hike or bike on manicured trails. Take the paths on snowshoes or cross-country skis in winter. Snowmobile trails aren’t far off, either.
Fall brings bow and gun hunting for deer and turkey. Chisel a few holes in the nearby lakes for winter ice fishing. Spring offers more turkey hunting.
And while you’re close to nature, you’re not far from civilization. Golf, dining and the attractions of Wisconsin Dells are just a few miles away.
Here’s the real beauty, though: You can do as much - or as little - as you like. It’s your choice. The abundant wildlife is active enough. Maybe you’d just like to sit and watch.
Time seems to slow … but the days go fast. Once you leave, you might be wondering how soon you can come back.

Recommend for anyone ,all ages that just wants to clear their mind and have a wonderful relaxing time . Great "reset button" destination.
The property had everything we needed for our stay, and was comfortable and fun both inside and out. Plenty of things to do around the area. The home is in quality condition and did not give us any problems. The owner is quick to communicate and easy to work with; I certainly recommend staying here.
My husband myself and 3 teenagers stayed a week. We had everything we needed. The land is beautiful. The hot tub was a real treat at the end of a long day. We would recommend this property to friends and family. Thank you
We enjoyed our stay and spent most of our time relaxing next to the fire pit just talking like how families use to before the electronic age. We did use the available WiFi to find things to go look at during the day so that was nice. The airplane museum in Oshkosh was awesome! Get there early and for $75 you can get an airplane ride. I was hoping to go do some fishing but didn't get a chance. We went mini golfing in town instead. The grocery and liquor store are not too far away.
It does only have 1 bathroom so that can be a challenge if you have more women than men. Plan well! The hot tub was nice as well. All in all, we would stay again!
Our party of 5 adults, one 2 year-old, and two dogs all had a great time here. The variety of features and types of entertainment is really what makes this place so appealing. The kayaks and proximity to Lawrence Lake, the horseshoes, the big social fire pit, monster picnic table, hot tub, bocce ball, space for other yard games, and fully operational kitchen – these things kept us more than occupied throughout 4days/3nights. The feel of the tall pine grove woods is especially charming and the environment as whole felt very serene, without necessarily being very remote.
The home and the lake are separated by several other properties and a small neighborhood. Lake is accessible only by walking biking or driving an eighth / quarter mile down the road. The trails on the property and connected acreage lead out from the back of the house in the opposite direction of the lake and are not natural woody hiking trails, which we would have liked. Still, they're very attractive small-vehicle paths that intertwine the various plots of tall planted pine groves, grass pastures and the occasional natural growth woods. Ideal for leisurely family strolls.
The interior space is very well-kept and perfectly functional for all the needs of a vacationing group. Of the 10 people that the space can sleep, 6 of those are on futons in the smallish main room - so there would need to be a good balance of loud/quite times and possible sleep disturbances. We worked that out just fine despite the exuberant 2 year old and dog factor.
All in all this was a great spot and we'd happily return.
During Memorial Day weekend we got a chance to stay at this wonderful vacation rental in Westfield, Wisconsin. There was a total of eight people, two adults and four children. When we arrived we were surprised to see this cute log cabin house with nothing but forest around. The kids were very excited. The house included all amenities and necessities that a family might need. It was clean and everything was well organized. This was the perfect place for the kids because there were so many games and movies available. There was a hot tub which all of us got to enjoy. The fire pit on the outside was also a bit hit. We did not get a chance to use the two kayaks, but we did use all the bicycles to ride around the trails. I would definitely come back to stay at this log cabin anytime and I have already recommended it to some of my friends.
