The apartment is located in the Phase One Residence Complex closest to the sea and enjoys the largest communal swimming pool restricted to the Phase One Residents. This tranquil, commanding position within the Mellieha Commune. It is complimented by outstanding features which include superb views of Mellieha Bay, low density development, sensitive landscaping, totally car free zone (all vehicle circulation is underground), individual large lock up garage also included in the price, easy access to the foreshore and proximity to sandy beaches.
The construction was completed in 2007. It was built as a personal retirement home and as such includes a lot of extra comfort features or quality of floor and bathrooms tiles, heated towel rails, that were not included in the Developers Original Package. In short it is built for luxurious comfort, children safety and security. The complex is manned and is securely gated and only residents and visitors with a remote control or a passcode can enter the complex.
One can access the apartment direct from the garage/or ground floor via the conveniently located elevator, which allows for unloading of shopping items as well as providing easy access for persons with limited mobility.
The apartment is licensed with the Malta Tourist Authority and is licensed for luxury holiday lets, is fully air-conditioned with individual remote controls for each room.
The apartment is very spacious 240sq. m. including the terraces with approx 200 sq.m available for the guests.
The spacious master bedroom is furnished with a super-king sized bed L190 x W180 x H25, two bedside tables, a single bed 190 x 90 (all in cm) wide, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a fully dressed baby cot if required. The master bedroom comes with an ensuite shower,/toilet. A window provides light and fresh air and is fitted with both pull down blinds and a curtain for added privacy but still letting the daylight in. We also have a baby cot for families with babies and can be conveniently set up close to the double bed and is fully equipped with mattress and bed linen.
The second bedroom comfortably sleeps two persons having two separate single beds L200 x W100 (cm) each. Due to guest request we have pushed the beds side by side as is show in the photos. It is also equipped with a bedside table, table light, large wardrobe, and a large desk top with monitor.
Bed linen, cot linen, duvets, pillows, pillow-cases, beach towels, bath towels, hand towels, hand soaps and other toiletries plus a hair drier are also provided. Mosquito plug-in repellants/tablets, electrical adapters.
Top of the line fully equipped kitchen includes dishwater, fridge freezer, microwave, oven, induction cook top and other kitchen top utensils such as toaster, coffee maker and electric kettle.
A combined dining and living area with access to via two large sliding doors to two separate terraces, the front overlooks the pool and across Mellieha Bay and provides a magnificent view of L-Ahrax promontory and the open sea. My wife and I enjoy having breakfast on this terrace and watch the beautiful colour reflections of the L-Ahrax rocks at sunrise. Both terraces benefit from direct sunlight at different times starting from sunrise and continues in late afternoon on the side terrace. Outdoor furniture different sized tables complete with chairs are provided and can be set up on either sun terraces. Two toddler’s high chairs are also provided.
In the dining area there is also a large 8 seater dining table.
The living area is equipped with a large 3 seater sofa which also opens and turns into a double sofa bed. Other lounge furniture include a comfortable leather armchair and a double seater leather sofa.
A separate laundry room includes a washing machine and a tumble drier plus two water heaters, two clothes airier, an iron and an ironing board.
Miscellaneous, a mobile foldable bed, deckchairs, 2 emergency heaters Safety items (fire blanket, fire extinguisher etc). Manned gated complex during day time. Security guarded during night time (summer months).
This property also offers High Speed FREE WIFI and a telephone is also available for local landline phone calls only.
Upon your arrival you will be hosted by Charlene our charming property manager who will meet you outside the apartment at a pre-advised set time. She will show you around the property and will give you access to the complex and the apartment via remote control if you have a rented vehicle and/or passcode/door key which she will supply you with. Should you require any taxi transfers from/to Malta International Airport our property manager Charlene will be pleased to assist and organise transportation to accommodate all members in your group.
A one off welcome pack including tea, coffee, sugar, water, fresh milk, orange juice, cereal, some bread rolls, butter and jam, will be provided gratis upon your arrival.
Public service transport is ideal and affordable in Malta though the summer months may be rather hectic, busy and very hot. Bus stops in both directions are stationed about 8 minutes short walk away from the apartment.
