Our home has a unique B&B permit allowing us to operate as a legal vacation house in Portland. We achieve this by having a housekeeper live in a separate suite on the lower level, separate from the functioning vacation home with a separate entrance. They are available for help and assistance during your stay but will have no other impact on your private stay.
A couple of standout reviews that can be found on our listing:
"This is an absolutely gorgeous home in a lovely, artistic neighborhood. Plenty of room to spread out, large open spaces and quiet bedrooms with VERY comfortable beds and bedding. The kitchen is wisely stocked, the bathrooms are luxurious, and the rooftop's 360' view is icing on the cake. We walked and explored and ate and shopped our merry way through the bohemian streets each day, fully satisfied and entertained. The transaction itself was seamless, easy, and worry-free. Thank you, Caleb and Catie, for a truly spectacular Portland experience!"
"The photos barely do this house justice. The space was so airy and comfortable (+ clean + organized!) Our hosts were incredibly accommodating and made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. The location was in walking distance to some really great restaurants and cafes (all included on a detailed map of recommendations by Caleb + Catie). We took full advantage of the rooftop deck for coffee each morning and even brought pizza and salads back for dinner one night. We were 5 friends, arriving from all over the country, visiting Portland for a wedding. The proximity to the airport was important because we were each arriving and departing at different times/days over our 5-day stay. The cab ride from the airport was about $20. We also had a rental car to get around the city, to spend a day hiking around Mt. Hood, and to visit some vineyards in Willamette Valley. We will absolutely recommend Villa Concordia to any friends and family who visit Portland -- and hopefully we will be back too!"
Caleb and I come from Ohio. So sure, we love Ohio - but love the PNW more. We are thankful that we now call Portland our home.
For fun - we hike A LOT, spending good time in the forests with our dog around Mt Hood, in the Gorge, or on the coast. I enjoy practicing yoga and am a certified yoga teacher. Caleb plays and loves ice hockey.
We aim to be super considerate and delightful guests when we rent and to provide a clean, rad home when we host.
Get out here and visit this amazing city and region!
Because it's amazing!! It really is a beautiful and special home. We enjoy using and improving it. Also we live very close by making it easy to take care of and interact or assist with our guests.
We have stayed in many VRBO rentals throughout California, Oregon and Hawaii, and this house is without doubt the nicest place we have stayed in. The beds are wonderful, it has lovely furniture, and many many amenities. We did not have a chance to enjoy the roof deck because of the weather, but it looked great. We were here for a family wedding and it is a perfect space for visiting. Convenient to the airport. We loved our stay!!!
This home has tons of space! It is in a great location and guests are able to walk to lots of places in the Alberta Arts district. Rooftop deck is incredible! We will be back!
This Villa on 28th street just off Alberta is clean, spacious, tasteful, quiet and comfortable. It is perfect for a group. The living/dining area, bedrooms and rooftop patio are simply fantastic. Catie and Caleb make the entire renting process hassle-free. Would definitely stay here again!
Six friends of mine and I stayed at the Portland villa for four days in late August. It fit our needs perfectly. The common space has large windows on three sides making it bright and pleasant. It is well laid out in a living area with comfortable couches and a dining area that has a large dining table that easily accommodated all of us. The rooftop patio with views over the trees and of the night sky was perfect for morning coffee and evening wine and conversation. Bedrooms were comfortable, light, and airy. The Alberta Arts district has a number of excellent restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques within a short walk of the villa. We managed to time our visit with their "Last Thursdays" street art fair which was particularly enjoyable. Catie and Caleb responded to email queries very quickly; it was easy to work with them. We all would highly recommend this property to other guests.
We really enjoyed staying in this house. The open floor plan was wonderful with small children. We loves walking down Alberta street for food.
We stayed at this gorgeous property in May while traveling with a large group for the UMC General Conference at the Convention Center. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back if any of us is in the Portland area again. The property was well maintained and exactly as described. It was roomy, perfect for a group of adults. We loved the living and dining room where we could all congregate in the evenings for dinner and to review the days events.
Parking is relatively easy and there were restaurants and shopping a few blocks away.
The owners are gracious and responded quickly when called. I give this property 5 PLUS start! You will not be sorry you select it.
