This privately owned, stunning new apartment is the largest in the complex called Ixora St James. Situated in Jamestown Park in the heart of Holetown, on Barbados' Platinum West Coast. A short walk will bring you to Settlers beach; also within walking distance is the very upscale shopping complex Lime Grove, where you can find the finest high end retailers such as Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren, as well as restaurants, bars, cafes and cinemas. The emphasis at IXORA 1 is on outdoor living with full width sliding doors leading on to a private 40ft patio and garden area with direct access to a shared swimming pool.

IXORA 1 - comes equipped with all the amenities you could ask for. Bedroom (1) has a UK Super King size bed, air conditioning, additional ceiling fan, and a walk in closet with en-suite shower room. Optional 2nd Bedroom - Bedroom (2) has a 7'7" emperor size Bed, air conditioning, additional ceiling fan, and a walk in closet with en-suite shower room. (Bedroom 2 will be locked off when only one bedroom option is booked). The large American style kitchen/living area, also suited with ceiling fans, has stylish furnishings with a sofa, chair, coffee table, breakfast bar/stools, live UK TV with full sports channels & films, local telephone and WiFi. The fully fitted kitchen has a large fridge/freezer (with ice maker/filtered water), breakfast bar, washing machine, oven, hob, microwave, kettle etc. Accessed by sliding doors, the 40ft patio has a dining table and 6 chairs, 4 lounge chairs and drinks table, as well as 2 loungers for your pleasure. A small safe is also fitted for your personal items.

I grew up and still live in North Lancashire UK with my husband and family. Having no family ties now, we decided to purchase our home in Barbados after spending over 18 years visiting this beautiful island. We now rent the apartment to give others the chance to enjoy it as much we do!

Brand new contemporary furnished apartment. It is the largest in the complex, offering a large 40ft patio for 'Al Fresco' living. Gated community with secure entry, lots of wildlife to watch, especially the 'Green Monkeys' as they play in the surrounding area and the hummingbirds floating from flower to flower!

Very comfortable a perfect spot to spend a few weeks chilling in Barbados

Ixora 1 is what it say’s on the tin! No disappointments here, Linda the owner of our beautiful

apartment,has been brilliant from start to finish, making sure we are happy with all our needs.

We have no doubt that anyone visiting Barbados for the first time,would be totally happy

Home from home in paradise!

We’ve just spent our honeymoon in Ixora 1&2 and had the most amazing time. The apartment met all our expectations and more. It’s so lovely and spacious and has everything you need to make a home from home vacation. We particularly loved the fridge which had a filtered water/ice dispenser. Linda was just excellent from start to finish and Joseph was very helpful when we were there. It’s within walking distance to some beautiful beaches and shops. Even though we hired a car you really don’t need one with everything on your door step. The only thing it would benefit from is an A/C unit in the front room but understand this is expensive to run - it does have ceiling fans which help a little. We loved it that much that we’re planning to spend our first anniversary there too! ;0)

Great holiday

Me and wife booked this apartment. Photos don’t do it justice. If I had my good camera with me I would have taken some new photos to send to Linda. We arrived and Joseph let us into the apartment. Explained everything to us.

Great location short walk from Centre and beach

Would go back

We were surprised that the apartment had so many useful items, adaptors, hair dryer, cool bag and ice packs.

Prime quiet location home away from home

The description and photos of this property are exactly as written/shown. Very modern and clean lines with excellent customer service before and after provided by Linda the owner. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending to my friends. The location is within a 5 minute walk of a bus stop which will take you on any journey on the island. 10 minutes relaxed walk to a very well stocked large supermarket (Massys), beach bars etc. etc. Eating out can be expensive but the equipment provided in the kitchen can help you on your way to knock up a meal at home. An upside for me was that everything matched.....none of 1 of this 3 of that etc. etc. Great attention has been given to detail which all helps for you to have a wonderful holiday in a home away from home.

Wonderful home from home in paradise. Everything you need and more.

When we first arrived we was met by Joseph who was very helpful in showing us round making sure all would go well for our stay. Eddie & Linda had left us a few provisions in the fridge that I had asked for so that straight away it felt like home we had all we needed for a wonderful stay. The information book was very helpful giving us new ideas for our 5th stay in Barbados. We went to Jumas for lunch & dinner lovely setting overlooking the sea. Also sat on the beach watching the sunset at ju ju’s, wonderful! The apartment is in a fantastic setting lovely pool which we enjoyed every day, only minutes from the centre of Holetown with fab restaurants and beaches. The apartment is modern and clean lovely terrace to relax or dine on. All in all we have had a fantastic time here and would love to visit again . We go home today so we will spend the rest of the day sunning ourselves by the pool. Just left to say thanks Eddie & Linda for letting us use your home in the sun 😎

Happy Hole Town

This was a beautifully appointed property to cater for your every need. Very stylish and relaxing interior and well presented. It was grand to sit on the large veranda and sip a chilled glass of wine after a dip in the comforting warmth of the pool. The owner was very professional and caring. It was a short walk to the beach and the shops and restaurants. We enjoyed visiting Lime Grove and had lunch there on a couple of occasions. The locals make you very welcome and you always feel safe. When we next visit Barbados we will certainly return to this lovely apartment.

Holetown is approximately 35 minutes drive from the airport. The centre of Holetown is about 5 minutes stroll from the apartment with multiple shops, banks, post office, police station etc. Within the immediate vicinity you will find restaurants, bars, bakery and coffee shops. Lime Grove Lifestyle Centre is a newly built oasis in the centre of Holetown housing many designer boutiques including Michael Kors, Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren, Breitling to name but a few, also many restaurants, bar and coffee shops to relax in whilst browsing. Also within walking distance there is a variety of restaurants to suit all budgets, such as Italian, Indian, Thai and local Bajan cuisine.
