What immediately strikes you as you walk into Sea Spirit is the view. Words and photos do their best to describe or illustrate just how gorgeous it is but experiencing it for real is the only way to appreciate just how breath-taking the view is and how it changes constantly with the light and tides.
Sea Spirit is warm, welcoming, comfortable and modern. There are two bedrooms at the rear of the apartment both with their own ensuite bathrooms. There is a double bed in one of the rooms and a zip and link bed in the other that can either be two 3ft single beds or a super king size bed. The kitchen has integrated appliances including a washing machine and dishwasher as well as a large fridge/ freezer, oven and induction hob. The dining table has to offer the best spot to dine in the whole of St Ives!
The living room has two comfortable sofas, a Smart TV with freeview plus there are two USB port sockets provided to play your music to the harman/kardon speaker. Having WiFi means you can stream music or TV through to your own devices or enjoy catch up TV or choose a film to watch on Netflix.
Sea Spirit is on the top floor of the building, so you will need to climb a couple of flights of internal stairs which means it is not ideal for younger children or anyone not able to cope with too many steps.
The stroll into town takes no more than a few minutes and you can pop out either at Barbara Hepworths’ museum, Fore Street shops or opposite Porthmeor beach. The nearest public car park is at Barnoon which is just a couple of minutes’ away on foot.
Artists from the 19th Century moved to St Ives for its exquisite light and coastal scenes. Two of these artists actually lived on Barnoon Terrace, one was Whistler who used to paint the energetic sea and scenery on old cigar lids and the other who actually lived in Sea Spirit of old is Stanhope Forbes (thh founding member of Newlyn school of painters) and you will see a letter of his addressed from 7 Barnoon Terrace to his wife exhibited at the Tate Gallery.
An allocated parking space will be provided for your exclusive use (within a 10 minute walk at most).

Beautiful apartment with amazing views!
We absolutely loved our stay at Sea Spirit. It was extremely comfortable and well appointed and the location and view can't be beat. The suggestions from Sam prior to our stay were incredible and we thoroughly enjoyed every detail. Will definitely come again!
Outstanding in every way
What a perfect apartment. From the view to the decor to the welcome pack of Cornish Cream tea, our experience couldn't be bettered.
Amazing place to stay
Great apartment, amazing views, great location, loved it!
Top notch property.
All things considered this must rank amongst the top places to stay in St Ives.
Only stayed Monday to Friday in December and both my wife and I were amazed when we walked in and saw the view from the windows in the living room, it's better than the photos show by far. I've never watched dolphins from the sofa before but you can here.
The attention to detail is spot on along with the quality and cleanliness of the property, the showers, beds and everything else far exceeded the usual for a holiday let. It remained warm and comfortable despite the howling gale and rain during our stay not that we were indoors much as there is so much to do and see in Cornwall.
I would certainly recommend Sea Spirit as somewhere that will make a big impression and be an asset to any holiday in St Ives.
It was like staying in an eagle's eyrie!
This apartment is all about the view. It' a very light, modern, 2BR, 2 en suite renovation and has all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. If you don't feel like heading out, you can sit and watch the endlessly changing panorama. But remember, the better the view, the higher the climb!
We have just returned from a fabulous few days in St Ives. Sea Spirit is a fantastic apartment. The views are to die for and only a short stroll from the town center. Don't be put off by other reviews about the climb up the hill. It really isn't that bad. The apartment was spotless when we arrived. So clean we questioned the date of refurbishment as everything looked so clean and new - it really was spotless. The welcome cream tea was very much appreciated. If you want to eat out try Cellar Bistro (as stones throw away). Great atmosphere, great food.
