What a great apartment, beautiful views, very well equipped, and extremely clean. Fernando is a great guy and was wonderful to deal with, his son Fernando Jr picked me up and dropped me back off at the airport and was so helpful and polite.

Owner's Response: If you are lucky enough to host Lonny, you will meet a super polite and nice person, full of positive energy. If your house is in the best place in town and has style and sunny terraces, Lonny will know how to enjoy it better than anyone else. And he will let you know that he is happy, which is very agreeable for a host. Lonny is also absolutely respectful and careful with the house, which was perfectly clean and tidy on his departure. Therefore, Lonny is a highly recommended guest. His friendliness and all his kindness with my son Fernando too (it was very beautiful the really good feeling between them) makes the experience with Loony have been more than excellent!

Convenient location. Top amenities. Classy interior with modern taste, though partly for cost of less comfort. Bedding of the highest standard.

Huge sun terrasse with total privacy.

Television only with Spanish channels, but excellent choice of classical music. Speedy wifi.

Owner's Response: Seppo has been an polite and correct guest and I appreciate his constant positive comments about the apartment during his stay, and his excellent care of the house and plants. There are television channels that can be watched in Spanish and English but I'm sorry I did not know how to hire the private channel he wanted. I will try to improve that aspect and it will be a pleasure to meet Seppo again.

Lovely apartment, gets sun all day. The photos barely do it justice.

This is a lovely apartment, less than a minute from from the beach but only a few minutes to Parque de Santa Catalina. It is in a lively area surrounded by restaurants, bars, cafes and shops, there is a small supermarket opposite the apartment.

However as the apartment is on the top floor it is very quiet. The apartment is in immaculate condition, spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. A special mention for the excellent hi-fi which you can link to your tablet or phone to listen to your music. There is of course wi-fi.

We were not cooking but the kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of cutlery, utensils, toaster, coffee maker, kettle etc. The bed has a very comfortable mattress and the linen and towels are of high quality. (Bath, lounger and beach towels are all provided!)

AND best of all there are two sun terraces (an upper and lower) both with loungers. You can get the sun all day long from early morning to late afternoon.

Finally we are greeted on arrival by the owner (or owners friend) Fernando who could not have been more charming and helpful. He gave us his phone number in case we needed to contact him. There was a minor problem with the bathroom and Fernando had it resolved immediately.

Overall a wonderful place; in a quiet building, in a great area and we would certainly stay here again if we return to Las Palmas.

They came from Glasgow, where people are communicative and smiling, like them. It was really satisfying to see them enjoying our weather, the sun on the terraces and the sea, and everything they knew how to discover in our land. Super careful and respectful with the house, I rate them as highly recommended guests if you're lucky to host them. So long, friends Stewart and Liz. We have pending share a cup of wine and good music together.

Nice Penthouse - Ideally Situated.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 11 night stay at Fernando’s Penthouse Apartment. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, well equipped, spacious, light and airy. The terrace was sunny from early morning until early afternoon, but the large, private rooftop solarium had sun all day. The apartment is ideally positioned just a minute’s walk from Las Palmas’ lovely beach and promenade. Shops and restaurants are all close by.

Fernando, the owner, is a lovely guy, enthusiastic about his property and extremely helpful. He arranged our transfers at a very reasonable price, met us on arrival, showed us round the property explaining how things work, and provided useful information and advice about the area.

We definitely recommend this rental and would stay here again with no hesitation.

Incredible apartment with the best host! We had an excellent time!

We loved staying in this wonderful apartment. We wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was fantastic! Fernando is an incredible host. We feel like we met a new friend! If you're heading to Las Palmas, this is the place to stay. It's absolutely perfect. We will be back!

Owner's Response: Unbeatable experience with Jenna & Daniel! I am really happy to have met this young couple, with those natural and transparent looks that genuine people have. After 5 minutes of leaving the apartment I already missed them!. As guests, they have my highest consideration since were very careful with the house (everything perfectly clean and tidy at their departure), also spoiled the plants of the terrace and even left the bedding washed!! (a very appreciated detail). I thank them for their compliments to the penthouse and I am frankly glad that their experience on my property has been so positive.

Perfect apartment to relax and unwind.

A tremendous apartment, really well equipped and spacious.with a comfortable bed which is always a bonus. The photos don't do justice to the sun terrace which is larger than it seems in the photos. Notice also the flight of stairs in one photo. That leads up to the apartment roof which gives even more outdoor space with more loungers that can be in the sun or shade according to your choice.

We will definitely be back again before too long.

Fernando was great, met us at the apartment when we arrived, helped us find some local music venues to entertain us and met us as we were leaving to

Throughout their stay, they let me know that were nicely surprised, as the apartment exceeded their expectations and they were enjoying the sun on the terraces and the beach everyday, which was very gratifying for me. As soon as they arrived I could confirm the good feeling I had had of them through our previous messages. Both are really nice and communicative and were very attentive with the care of the house and the plants of the terraces. Las Palmas is a nice and safe city of more than 400,000 inhabitants whose jewel is one of the best urban beaches in Europe: Las Canteras, a beach almost 4 km long with a lively promenade to enjoy day and night walks and taste the gastronomy of it's many restaurants.

Las Canteras Beach is awarded year after year with the European Blue Flag of Quality. The penthouse is next to the crystalline waters and golden sands and there are all services at your fingertips: restaurants, bars, supermarkets, large municipal markets (with all fresh fruits, vegetables and canary fish), shops of all kinds, pharmacies, shopping centers. .. However, the penthouse is a quiet house at the top where you only hear the noise of the sea.

The emblematic Santa Catalina Park (with the central bus station that connects you to any point on the island) and the most prestigious shopping area of ​​the city (Mesa y López) are located a few steps from the house.

Also very close is the great Alfredo Kraus Auditorium and a lively cultural life with modern art museums, anthropological museums, exhibition halls and concerts, etc.

The taxis are not expensive and the bus service works with very punctually, so from the attic you can discover every corner of the city without needing the car. You can really reach almost all places with a nice walk.

If you like sports, you can enjoy surfing and paddle surfing, golf, swimming, diving, cycling or running like no other place.

Nothing better to start the day than wake up every morning in the attic to go down to take a healthy bath in the sea or walking on the beach and tasting a delicious breakfast. You are ready to enjoy a great day!
