The Forest of Dean boasts outdoor pursuits in abundance, with canoeing, kayaking, climbing, fishing and dedicated cycle routes for all abilities. Go Ape is a fantastic high wire adventure to try with the teenagers, and there’s also Puzzlewood and the Forest Steam Railway, which make for an exciting day trip.
