Amazing house, fabulous holiday
Where to begin! The house is stunning and had plenty of space and facilities for the 4 familes staying for the week.
We loved the beautiful infinite pool; the gardens are gloriously landscaped with olives, lavendar and rosemary; there is a children’s playroom equipped with games and xBox for the hotter part of the afternoon; the outside dining area is amazing with unbelievable views - we BBQ’d or Anne made us some delicious meals which she brought in the evening and were very reasonably priced; there is a Chateau in walking distance which offers a tour with wine tasting. The local boulangerie produces excellent croissant and there is a supermarket in nearby Rians.
One small piece of advise would be to provide pool shoes for the children - they got little blisters on their toes from all the jumping around!
We would all go back in a flash - amazing holiday was had by all.
Thanks Bruno and Anne.
My family and friends had an excellent time at this home! The property was amazing and awesome pool. It’s clean smell of lavender all around and plenty for the kids to do. All that we needed was in the kitchen and the owners were lovely.
A gorgeous property that exceeded expectations
Our group of six (3 adults and 3 kids) loved our stay. The house is very large and we all had plenty of space inside. The kitchen is functional and very well equipped for cooking. The bedrooms are large, bedding comfortable and the bathrooms more than sufficient. The game room is lovely though we didn't use it all that much. Outdoors the property truly sets itself apart. The pool is stunning and the lounge options are beautiful and situated so that sun lovers and shade lovers always had comfortable options. The landscaping is phenomenal with rosemary, lavender and olive all over. The kids play area is beyond the pool and shaded by an ancient beauty of a tree. The playset, trampoline and Zipline kept the kids happy. There is also a large private grassy area where you could kick a ball or have a catch. Very family friendly without taking anything from the adult experience.
Both Anne and Bruno were very responsive. Wifi was not reliable, though really improved when Bruno added a 4th hotspot. For us it was fine to get emails, texts etc, but if you are needing to really work from here, I'd check in to see if it's faster/consistent. But you won't want to work here, it's perfect for relaxing :)
I never expected anything like that. The house looks exactly like on the pictures. Everything about it is perfect. There's nobody around it, the property is huge and has got everything you could imagine. The pool is large and thanks to the lightings you can sit next to it at night. Only thing: it's a bit cold in september.
There are a lot of attractions nearby such as the sea, Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, the picturesque village Jouques, paintball, we even saw a huge labyrinth on the way. Also a large supermarket is nearby.
After all we had a wonderful stay there and had so much fun.
In September it is the best price-value ratio I've ever seen.

Beautiful House and grounds with plenty of space. Nice welcome
This has been one of those memorable holidays The house was well equipped and the indoor and outdoor games added much pleasure to the holiday. The pool was frequented daily by most
Nine of our family stayed and we all agreed that the atmosphere and surroundings where just what we all needed to enjoy and come back refreshed. We especially enjoyed eating outside, using the barbecue and obtaining the food from the markets and local shops especially the boulangerie
I hardly know where to begin about how much we loved our stay in the incredible Mas de L'Olivier in Provence. It had been a dream of ours for many years to take our family on a vacation in France. Cristelle and Bruno's beautiful home in Provence helped make that dream a reality. We wanted an old stone farmhouse, away from the crowds. Check. We wanted a lovely pool and outdoor eating area. Check. We wanted nearby wineries and boulangerie. Check. We wanted to be within 60-70 minute drive from the coast, the Luberon and other Provençal sights. Check.
When we arrived on our first day, we were astounded at the beauty of the house and surroundings. Pictures did not do it justice. We loved going into the village of Rians in the morning, picking up fresh baguettes and croissants, fresh goat cheese and veggies from the market. We wound up having most of our dinners at home. We kept cancelling restaurant reservations because no one wanted to leave. We loved grilling out and then just hanging out on the patio all evening, drinking rose, talking, laughing and staring at the stars.
We also had fun learning to play pétanque, going for early morning walks and taking photos and hanging out at the lovely pool. My husband also made good use of the mountain bike.
Cristelle, Bruno and Anne were incredibly helpful and gracious. We thank you so much for our magic week in Provence. We'll be back!
