The Garden Cottage is an attractive detached stone cottage set on an elevated site above the Dorset village of Upwey and can sleep two people. Inside the property is one eaves double futon bedroom with en-suite basin and WC. The rest of the property is on the ground floor and contains a kitchen, a conservatory with dining area and a sitting room with sofa bed. To the outside of the property there is off road parking for one car and a sloping lawned garden with patio and furniture. The Garden Cottage is a comfortable base for couples or friends looking to explore the delights of Weymouth and the surrounding Dorset villages.
Amenities: The cottage is insulated to high current standards and double glazed and, thus, suitable for all year round use. Under floor heating throughout the ground floor living areas, with supplementary electric oil-filled radiator on first floor (very rarely needed). Electricity, bed linen and towels included in rent. Bosch electric oven with grill, two-ring induction hob, microwave, refrigerator, Bosch washing machine. Dedicated BT Wi-Fi for Broadband ( Mobile phone coverage is intermittent depending on network) TV with Freeview; DVD player. Private secluded terrace with garden table, parasol, chairs and benches. The village shop is approximately one mile away and the Old Ship Inn is 15 - 20 minutes’ walk away. Advisable to book your table at the pub for Friday and Saturday nights but please note that it is closed on Mondays
