We are grateful for the wonderful weekend! The traveling experience was out of the box, and we needed that. Your farm radiates with love and visitors will easily feel it. Can't wait to come back!
My sister and I along with our 5 young children stayed here for 10 days and had a marvelous time! Nothing beats being able to see the milkyway and shooting stars away from in town light pollution. We saw so much wildlife, even a baby bear! The kiddos loved riding their bikes down the dirt road to the creek and seeing fish. Gathering eggs from the chicken coup was also a favorite. Only a short drive to town but feels like a little farm in the mountains. The owners and property manager were great to us. We would absolutely stay here again!
My husband and I come to Montana each year for our much needed vacation. This year we stayed in the Bitterroot valley. Amazing!! The cabin was a wonderful place to come back to after a long day of fishing. We came in August when the apples lured deer into the yard. Max and Tina the owners made us feel right at home. The cabin its self is clean and comfortable. Far enough out of town to be quiet yet close enough to run to the store or the local breweries. I was disappointed that we couldn't eat at the restaurant. Next year!! Thanks for sharing your property with us!
My wife and I stayed here at Sleeping Child several weeks ago. I can't say enough about our stay. We where greeted by Tina one of the owners who welcomed us and gave us tour of the grounds. We stayed in the main cabin which over looked the newly planted vineyard. The accommodations we're clean and tastefully decorated. Later that day we met the other owner Max who gave us the full tour of the farm as we took our glass of wine and walked down to the bunk house that sits right on the creek. Next time that's where I am going to sleep! We also visited the chicken coop where our breakfast eggs came from...nothing better than farm fresh eggs with your morning cup of coffee! We are already planning a return trip with our friends for this fall. If you are anywhere near Hamilton Montana this is differently the best keep secret when it comes to lodging!!!
Wow, what a quaint and comfortable cabin. My wife and I spent three wonderful day's there for a family get together earlier this spring. I had a wonderful time fly fish'n in peaceful Sleeping Child creek(where I found a shed deer antler. This place is clearly a labor of love. The owner's (Max & Tina) have put there touch on everything from the well maintained grounds, right down to the deck that looks down the peaceful creek. Can't wait to return!
Quiet peaceful setting, creek nearby provides soothing sounds to help you sleep, close to town yet feels like you are miles away. Great price and wonderful for viewing wildlife or just enjoying a glass of wine on the deck.
