We are delighted to offer you our Cambridge Mews House set in the finest part of Norwich's Golden Triangle area - only a sprightly walk to the center of this fine city - great pubs, super restaurants, local bus routes, local food shops and the amazing Theatre Royal are within minutes of Cambridge mews House.

You really cannot be in a better and seriously tranquil location but still only a lovely walk to the city with all its shopping, places to see, places to eat in and much much more.

There is one FREE parking space for one normal sized vehicle in what is a very difficult to park in part of the city - many other holiday let places cannot offer this, so if you are driving then it will save you about £10 a day and is literally outside the house. (please note - longer vehicles (transit style vans, motorhomes) will not fit this parking space and alternative parking will be needed). SUVs, Range Rover sized cars and estate sized cars will be fine.

DIRECTIONS TO THE HOUSE

From Cambridge Street drive or walk up until the left hand bend (about 300 yards or so). On your right there will be see a row of 5 wooden doored garages which is the block of Mews styled houses where Number 2 is situated. Walk to the other side behind the garages and the 2nd white door on your left is Flat 2 (Not a flat - apols for the confusion). The free car space is in front of the 2 garages doors immediately under the house living room window - more information on this is in the info file on the kitchen table.

MORE DETAILS ABOUT CAMBRIDGE MEWS HOUSE

The Nordic styled kitchen has all you need to knock up your favourite meal - slate tiled flooring, all mod-cons (microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer and all the usual things needed to self cater for 4 people). There is a dining table which seats up to 4 guests. There are some cooking basics like salt, pepper, hebs, cooking oils and of course free coffee and tea.

The large double bedroom has stripped wooden floors, an en suite shower room (a spacious double shower). There is a large comfy double bed, 2 bedsides, a chest of draws, a clothes rail and large dress mirror. We always over-provide fluffy towels and crispy white Egyptian cotton bed linens. The living room has a L-shaped sofa designed by those genius' at Ikea, which flips into a large comfy double bed in seconds - so if you have kids or are 2 singles or even 2 couples then you can stay in comfort and luxury for your stay (the loo/shower access is via the bedroom so you must be aware that walking thru the bedroom has to happen).

The cosy living room has a 42" flat screen TV with Freeview channels and unlimited Broadband Wi Fi. The large new ikea L shaped sofa can be converted into the 2nd double bed within seconds; so 4 guests/2 couples can enjoy a stay together - please note access to the shower and WC is via the bedroom. We have been advised to encourage guests to bring their own travel cots for children who need them - due to hygiene reasons.

All this will be accompanied with high end living, in a cosy and comfortable home from home. All you need is simply on your doorstep and/or a short walk away. The house is gas centrally heated and is always warm and easy to control.

We love to provide all our guests with as much information about the house and what to do as we can. We have collected a great selection of what's on guide, tourist leaflets and art/culture guides and calendars. We also provide a top tips guide to where to eat, where to go and places to see. We hope this is a great help to you. The info file also has lots of info about the house, which is also a great comfort. One thing to note - this house is a house which is purposely designed to cater for the holiday maker and is not where we live - on too many occasions we have been away and found that we have landed in a house where the host also lives - where it is not so clean, has personal clutter and where the house is a wee bit tired and grubby. Harvey Lane House is presented to the highest level possible and we are sure you will have an excellent stay.

THE LOCAL AREA

The Free car parking space is literally just outside and is a rare addition to this part of town where charges apply elsewhere.

We are certain all you need is within walking distance with the city only 10 mins walk away and lots to do and eat down on Unthank Rd which is 300 yards away. There is a large recreational park 2 mins away as well.You cannot be better placed for all you need to make this an easy stay. Unthank Road is literally 2 mins walk and has great pubs, restaurants, food shops, artisan butchers/ bakers and off licenses and not to mention take away pizza, curry, Chinese and so on. Golden Triangle has some eclectic and cosmopolitan living which suits all ages, creeds and types - Norwich is a hugely welcoming part of the World.

THE CITY

Norwich enjoys a mass of cultural attractions, excellent restaurants, several theatres, a castle, a 900 year old Cathedral which is literally on your doorstep and is set in the largest and most amazing Cathedral Closes' in the UK and not to mention one of the best shopping centres in Britain. Everything is within walking distance so you will be spoilt for choice.

Norfolk also has a wealth of amazing traditional coastal resorts which are only 30 minutes or so away by car and will be sure to keep you wooed and busy and of course easy to get to by by train.

The bus/coach station is not far away - about 15 or so minute walk with the train station further at about 25 mins.

WALKING - the river has many wonderful walks and please do look up the infamous city walks for those who love historic buildings, churches and medieval splendour. We even have great GHOST walks which is a must especially in the winter nights.

If it's shopping then Norwich has a huge pedestrianised centre which includes the big chains but a wonderful selection of independent shops with a hugely eclectic air which caters for all tastes.

Norwich is famous for its huge number of beautiful churches which attract visitors from all over the country and world. Norwich Castle and it's wonderful museum is also only minutes away and we are certain a visit here will be perfect for those rainy days.

Let's not forget the amazing Norfolk Broads and famous traditional coastal resorts that spread along the East Anglian coast - you can be there by car in 25 minutes or more.

We are dog lovers and are happy to have you and your pet stay (terms and conditions do apply and we reserve the right to disallow this).

Cambridge Mews House is located o one of the most exclusive streets in the most exclusive areas of the city known as The Golden Triangle. You will be 2 mins walk from Unthank Rd where there are a mass of pubs, eateries, breakfast cafes, Costa coffee, a small Tescos, a chemist, a butcher etc etc - basically all you need. 10 mins away is the rest of the city offering everything you would expect and more in a city - lots of cinemas, museums, medieval places, theatres, amazing shopping experiences including a mass of independent shops and much more. If you come by car then you simply wont need it so please enjoy the free car parking space offered next to the house - a rare bonus I have to say. Cambridge Mews House is a fabulously stylish and well-equipped Pied a Terre - with all you need to have a comfortable self catering holiday with your loved ones. We are confident you will have a fab stay and we even allow a fluffy friend as well (please ask before you book though). all best Collette

Lovely place to stay. Very central with an easy walk to the city centre.

Very clean and well maintained unit. Kitchen/dining area is fairly small and not suited for more than 2 people at a time but was perfect for our trip (2 adults/2 kids). Comfy bed and comfy sofa bed were great for sleeping. Bathroom was nice and large with a good shower.

Das kleine Häuschen lud gleich zu beginn mit seinem Charme und der Einrichtung zum verweilen ein.

Das Haus war wunderschön und mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet. Es war sauber, auch die Küche, welche alles bieten konnte, was man brauchte. Wir (vier Erwachsene) hielten uns für 3 Wochen in Norwich auf. Das Haus hat sehr kleine Räumlichkeiten, was mit der Zeit eng wurde für 4 Erwachsene, empfehlen würde ich es für 2 Erwchsene mit evtl. noch Kinder.

Die Lage war sehr zentral, auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit nur wenigen Gehminuten von der Wohnung entfernt.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, auf Fragen bekamen wir innert kürzester Zeit Antworten. Alles war sehr gut und genau beschrieben.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufentahlt in Norwich, vielen Dank dafür!
