About Reservations Manager, Melissa Wood
Melissa has worked in the travel business on and off for the past 20 years, and now owns and/or manages a select group of vacation rental properties around the world, including this one. THE OWNER: English born and bred, Rachel comes from Northumberland, the wild and rugged border county in the far North of England. Never far away from a ruined castle or stately home, she always wanted to buy a period property where she could enjoy both English countryside and history - but never be too far from the buzz of a metropolitan city. Now living in New York, she still loves to come home regularly and get her fix of England; to breath the fresh air of the countryside, the wood burning smoke of the log fires and enjoy a good English pub meal with friends and family.
Reservations Manager, Melissa Wood purchased this Cottage in 2015
Why Reservations Manager, Melissa Wood chose Elmbridge
Owner Rachel bought this gem of a cottage to give her the freedom to enjoy the best of both worlds - to stay where countryside and capital city are both uniquely accessible - and she now opens up her home to allow others to do the same. We look forward to welcoming you to this unique and lovely property.

England 2019 - A and L family vacation
Absolutely loved Bell Cottage!! Everything went wonderfully.
If we ever come back - We will definitely be contacting you to stay at Bell Cottage!!!
Only issue we encountered was the shower head and keeping the water from going all over the bathroom.
Suggestion - I would like to see a grab bar in the tub. Makes it easier for us “older” people to get in and out of the shower and tub.
Thank you again for a wonderful rental experience.
Thanks for the lovely review Janice, & for being such a respectful guest - the Cottage was left in excellent condition! Thanks also for the constructive comment about the shower head and suggestion of grab bar ... will most definitely find a solution to the first and consider the second for future guests! Would love to have you stay with us again. Cheers, Melissa
Gorgeous, clean, and comfy
Very much a home away from home. Fun decor, super clean, and the beds were so comfortable. Plenty of towels, blankets, dishes....everything. We loved staying at Bell Cottage. Melissa is such a wonderful and communicative host; it made all the difference in the world.
Thanks Stephany, lovely to have you as a guest, and we appreciate the great review, so glad you loved the Cottage as much as we do! Hope to welcome you again sometime, Cheers, Melissa & Rachel.

A little slice of heaven!
The cottage is adorable, well situated and located in a beautiful area.
Quaint and Well Appointed
My stay at Bell Cottage was everything I hoped it would be. Its location is ideal. It is close to bus lines and the train, yet within walking distance to Hampton Court Palace. The amenities are just what I needed. It is well lit so I could stitch with ease. The off-site housekeeper checked on me the first day to see my arrival was uneventful and that I had everything I needed. I hope to stay here again.
Hi Denise, and thanks for the lovely review - we are happy you found the Cottage suitable this trip and thank you for the extreme care you took of the home. Our communications were great, your observance of house rules excellent, and cleanliness excellent. A five star rating all around! We look forward to welcoming you back another time! Cheers, Rachel & Melissa
Cute convenient cottage
We stayed five nights at Bell Cottage. It is convevienty located in East Molesey close to local shops, public transport and the scenic Thames and Hampton Court Palace. The wonderfully charming and friendly Bell pub (built in 1430) is just 50m down the road and the village cafes, shops, pubs and Hampton Court railway station just 10 mins walk away. Trains run direct from HC station to Waterloo Station in London every 30 mins, the trip into London taking only about 35 mins.
The cottage is well appointed with a private rear courtyard and off street parking (a rare commodity in Molesey).
