Brad and Tammy purchased this guest home after searching for a long time to find a property that reflected their personalities. They serve as both owners and managers. Both possess a special appreciation for the Old West. One of Tammy's first baby photos was taken when she was 3-months old, in her aunt's arms, atop Beauty, her grandfather's grand chestnut horse. For more than 30 years, she owned and cared for many horses; Bitte, her palomino mare, was her favorite. As a young lad, Brad lived and worked on a dude ranch with his family in Montana. He spent many long days in the saddle on Nipper, his favorite. Having lived in Nebraska for most of their lives, they appreciate the good earth and the cowboy way of life. So, then, it only made sense that they would provide you, their guests, with an aura of the Old West. The Ranch House is located less than five minutes from their full-time residence in neighboring Carefree.
Tammy Moerer purchased this house in 2015
Both Brad and Tammy have loved the southwest all of their lives, more specifically, Arizona. They appreciate the desert, its many and varied flora and fauna; the unique history of the territory that became the last contiguous state to join the Union on Valentine's Day, 1912; and the people here who share this same attitude. The bones of the home are wonderful; but the light and airy design coupled with the western decor that they selected are the best features of this home. The sun shines nearly every day and disappears over the foothills in the early evening with usually brilliant, bright red and orange sunsets. The back veranda is shaded in the late afternoon, allowing for outdoor dining. In the summer, the monsoons and haboobs leave a feeling of awe. Inside the Ranch House, the open concept provides much light....the kitchen has honed granite counter tops; new stainless appliances and several seating places, the most unique are authentic saddle stools. The great room is sunny and inviting, as are all three bedrooms. The veranda is comfortable and the laundry facilities make your stay easy and convenient. A two-car garage is available.
When you enter the Ranch House, you immediately feel a sense of welcome. The home is clean and fresh. The furnishings and decor take you back in time... maybe memories of an old western movie with the Duke or Zorro or Annie Oakley. It might help you recall the lyrics to an oldie like "The Cattle Call" or some recent country western song. You can sit on the authentic saddle stools (that were fashioned by Tammy's father) while you eat or drink. And you might think of the horses that carried these saddles and their riders...Bitte, Pepper, Buck, Cindy, Knothead, Parker, Woodman, Tonka, and others. This is a special place that conjures special memories for Tammy and Brad....and memories for you to make as well....enjoy the Ranch House, the desert, and this amazing part of Arizona. The setting will enhance your special vacation here in this special part of Arizona.
The Ranch House was an excellent place to stay! We loved the themed decor. The home had everything we needed. The backyard was really relaxing and I enjoyed every minute I spent there. Tammy and Brad were great to work with - professional and responsive. Grocery stores and such were very convenient.
First off, Tammy and Brad were a pleasure to work with. They delivered as promised and were available if I had any questions during my stay. The house was in perfect condition, plus having 3 TVs really allowed everyone to watch what they wanted. This was a big plus. The 3 bedrooms were well maintained and we loved the decor. The neighborhood was also very nice, I took leisurely strolls during the afternoons and had the pleasure to meet several neighbors. This was a great house at a great value. If I come back to the area I will definitely rent again.
We booked this dog friendly lovely home while waiting to move in to our new home in AZ. Good location close to shopping and great owners. During our two week stay unfortunately the water heater broke and needed to be replaced. Owners Tammy and Brad immediately made plans for the replacement. Very responsive to our questions and genuinely responsive to our needs. During our stay we found the neighborhood quiet and very safe. We would highly recommend this property!
My stay in the Ranch house was perfect. All the comforts of home. It is decorated with the finest furnishings and amenities. Nothing to do but unpack and begin your stay.Everything was clean, and well stocked with towels, blankets, even shampoos and laundry items. What made my stay even better is that my family live across the street.if you are looking for a home rental, you won't find one better then this. I spent many mornings in the lovely back yard. Very comfortable, relaxing home!
The Ranch House was immaculate and well stocked with everything we needed to make our extended stay more than comfortable. Tammy and Brad were great hosts and very accessible and accommodating. We highly recommend the Ranch House for your next stay!
