Nice apartment close to the kitespot Le Morne

Kevin and Trisha are such a lovely people. We stayed with them together with another couple. We stayed in 2 apartments next to each other. Spacious room/bathroom and well equipped small kitchen. Nice private terrace. Also a huge roof terrace with sunbeds and the posibility to barbeque with nice views. We rented a pickup truck via Trisha where we put in out kite gear. In about 10 minutes you drive to Le Morne; famous kitespot. In the small village of La Gaullette you find everything you need, some restaurants, bars and big supermarket. Also for other sightseeing areas perfect place to stay!

Arrivés le soir et pas facile de circuler, mais au jour: formidables vues du toit terrasse. Appartement très suffisant et très apprécié. Bien situé pour visiter la côte ouest, le sud et la route de Chamarel. Personnel entretien et femmes de ménage très disponibles et gentils. Nous adorons l’aspect authentique, culturel, la cuisine indienne, mauricienne encore conservés. Magnifique île.

Amazing view, great surroundings

La Gaulete ist ein kleiner sympathischer Ort der alles hat was man zum Leben braucht. Das Apartment ist einfach und schön. Die Dachterrasse ist das absolute Highlight. Ein Auto braucht man hier um zum Strand oder in die Naturparks zu kommen. Im Ort kann man alles zu Fuß erreichen.

Why they chose this property

Kiters, beach bums, bird watchers and lovers alike will get so much out of this lush green pocket of Mauritius. This area has not been overwhelmed by tourism but there is every amenity close by needed for a wonderful holiday, your neighbors will be mostly Mauritian.
Sunset and rainbow watch , sun worshipers can cool off under the roof shower . At night star gazers can snuggle on the giant sunbed on the roof of Beautique studios. You can snorkel in the lagoons & swim locally with wild dolphins, there is no where else like this in the world. Enjoy more privacy, more space (the rooms are a generous size) and have an authentic experience.
Ideal for those looking for daytime action.... there is a chilled out vibe at night with a few good local restaurants and a couple of bars.

This property is really close to the best natural highlights of the island and is located in the unique Creole fishing village of Coteau Raffin within a friendly vibrant community
