Ideally located chalet for large parties wishing to ski in Megeve or Chamonix.
Chalet Cupelin is a spacious and light, interior designed chalet built in 2008. With over 450sq metres of space, over 4 floors, the chalet is ideal for large parties. The accommodation is spread over two interconnected apartments, so it is also possible to close off the 3 bedroom apartment for smaller parties. The chalet is set in 2000m2 of grounds with superb Mont Blanc views. Accommodation comprises 6 ensuite double / twin rooms. 2 of these rooms have an extra adult size bed, and another has a bunk bed. There is also a family suite of 2 rooms which share a bathroom (Please see the captions beside our photos which describe how many each room accommodates). Further sleeping is available on a double sofa bed on the mezzanine. Two temporary beds can also be set up in the Games room / Study, which also has an ensuite bathroom. All bathrooms have a bath with shower, and there are two additional shower rooms.
There is ample space to relax with a large dining and seating area on the first floor, another dining / seating area on the ground floor, a TV room (with 50" Smart TV) and games room as well as a massage room and sauna. Internet connection is available throughout.
The chalet is located in the heights of St Gervais. A ski bus leaves from approx 0.5km below the chalet, and when there is plenty of snow it is possible to ski back to the chalet, however we recommend you either bring your own car, hire a car from Geneva or St Gervais, or we suggest a company who can chauffeur you. This will enable you to take advantage of the huge Evasion Mont Blanc ski domain, as well as experience all that Chamonix, Courmayeur, and all the other resorts which are within easy travel distance have to offer.
The chalet can either be taken on a self catered basis, or we can put you in touch with our managing agents who can help you find catering, housekeeping, transfers and driving to and from the ski lifts / town as required.

Chalet is spacious, well laid out and well kitted out. Views are exceptional. A rather perfect place to relax apres-ski. Booking process and in resort staff all very helpful and attentive.
Thank you so much for staying and for your kind words Alex. Hope to see you next year!
Saint Gervais les Bains is a small, thriving market town, which has been a popular tourist destination since the early 1900s. It boasts the ownership of Europe’s highest mountain, Mont Blanc, and a stunning gorge location. The name derives from its Thermal Baths, and it is the only spa resort in the Alps. The 19th Century architecture gives the town an antique-chic feel, quite original in a ski resort. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming with numerous boutiques, small bars and restaurants to discover.
Saint Gervais les Bains is in the heart of the Evasion Mont-Blanc Ski Domain. With 445km of runs, it is the third largest in France. The scenery is stunning, sheltered by the mighty Mont Blanc.
The area is unspoilt, with antiquated alpine huts and tracks through snow laden trees. It has something for everyone, with 219 slopes, 107 ski lifts, and 650 snow making machines. This vast playground offers 2 snow parks for freestyle fanatics and thrill seeking children. There is a great choice of untracked off piste on Mont Joly or towards St. Nicholas. For the less ambitious there are plenty of inviting blue and green runs. So expansive is the area that frequently your party will be the only skiers on a piste, and the lift queues are rarely long, even in peak season. This is because Evasion Mont Blanc is not frequented by the large British Tour Operators, although it is popular with French, Italian and Dutch skiers. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Much to the delight of teenagers, a Folie Douce opened on the St Gervais slopes in 2014.
St Gervais is at the heart of the 6 stations which make up the Evasion Mont Blanc Ski Domain. Super Chic Megeve is the closest and most widely known. It has been a destination for the ‘jet set’ since Baroness de Rothschild created a French rival to St Moritz at the being of the twentieth century. Some of the mountain restaurants here are the best in the world, others offer delicious fare at more affordable prices. St Nicolas de Veroce has barely changed over the past 100 years, with surely the most beautiful baroque church in the alps. Combloux and La Giettaz are to the west. The final station, Les Contamines-Montjoie is so snow sure it is often open when even the near by, high altitudes resorts of Flaine and Chamonix are closed. Not to be missed is a journey on the Mont Blanc Tramway, which leaves from St Gervais and travels almost half way to the summit, with spectacular views. From there you can ski in Les Houches, and down the World Cup Kandahar run, returning by tramway in the evening. The famous Vallee Blanche is also easy to access from St Gervais as Chamonix is less than 30 minutes by road. A 50 minute journey through the Mont Blanc tunnel and you can be skiing in Courmayeur, Italy. One of the many strengths of St Gervais is its unrivalled position within easy driving distance of many other resorts, some well know and some ‘undiscovered gems.’
