Comfortable flat in great location.

  • 4 of 5

A lovely flat right by the Royal Crescent and Victoria park, easy walk to centre.

The flat is well equipped , especially the kitchen, comfortable and clean.

Only minor drawback is the climb up the stairs as it at the top of the building, but nice views from window.

Very helpful staff who dealt with booking and Sarah who welcomed us.

Owner's Response: Thanks so much. So pleased you enjoyed it. The Georgians loved to build properties with a lot of stairs. Lovely and quiet though at the top. Hopefully it helped you feel you could enjoy desserts guilt free as you would work them off. Take care and hope to see you again.

Great quiet and comfortable accommodation, fantastic location.

  • 5 of 5

We have been travelling around the UK in holiday lets for a couple of months and this is one of our absolute favourites. Actually stayed here twice. Booking and check in was easy. Amazing location right by the royal crescent but because the flat is at the back of the building it's incredibly quiet and relaxing. The views from this top floor are splendid. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the welcome goodies... very welcome!

Thoughtfully Provisioned Apartment

  • 5 of 5

We didn't want for anything. All the needs that we require from a rental property were provided in this well positioned top floor apartment, fantastically situated in relation to the city of Bath.

Top marks for cleanliness, cosyness and the thought that has gone into providing not just the big items, like a wonderful bed and mattress, but the small things like all of the cooking implements that you could possibly want. Even when we found that the DVD/CD player wasn't "speaking" to the TV, the response in replacing it was impressive.

Being able to walk out of the flat and be less than 5 minutes from the start of the main area of Bath was a real bonus. Bath is also a lovely place to be and we were able to leave the car outside the property for 4 of the 6 days we spent there.

No hesitation in recommending this property. One of the better rented properties we have stayed at.

Marlborough Buildings is a grand stone terrace set alongside the famous Royal Crescent and Victoria Park. It is a short stroll past glorious Georgian architecture to Bath city centre with its myriad of shops, restaurants, galleries and museums. At the top of Marlborough Buildings is Marlborough Tavern, a gastro pub and the Approach Golf Course where you can play a compact 18 hole course whilst enjoying marvellous views of Bath and the surrounding countryside. Around the corner at St. James Square there are good local amenities; a newsagents, chemists, coffee shop, Italian deli, organic grocery store and florist. A 5 minute stroll through Victoria Park and you are on the main street in Bath filled with shops and restaurants or you can stop en route in the park to take in a game of mini golf, tennis or the botanical gardens.
