3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, with large roof terrace and use of 16m swimming pool.

This is a modern three bedroom apartment in the historical centre of Tavira with a large private terrace and a communal swimming pool shared by only 8 apartments.

It is located just 800 metres from the Roman Bridge, and is close to the railway station and bus station.

It has a covered area of 132m2 and a large (30m2) terrace. It was built in 2008.

For entertaining and relaxing it is an ideal place to stay.

This spacious first floor apartment (accessed by stairs or lift) consists of an entrance hall leading to the good size living room with dining area, a modern fully fitted and equipped kitchen, three double bedrooms (en-suite with king sized bed, 1 with super king, 1 with twin beds) all with built in wardrobes. There are two bathrooms; one en-suite to the master bedroom and the second bathroom has a hydro massage bath. The apartment has air conditioning in all rooms, and a large private roof terrace of approx. 30m2 with table & 6 chairs, comfortable seating area and fitted BBQ. There is a large swimming pool (16 x 6 m) with large sun terrace and lawn and outdoor bathrooms with shower. This is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the old town towards the sea. Note, the large swimming pool is for 8 apartments only, which contributes to the exclusivity of this luxury apartment. Access to the pool area from the roof terrace (which can be reached by the lift or staircase) is via a walk way between the apartment building and the adjacent plot of land from where you can enjoy beautiful views over Tavira town centre towards the sea.

Tavira is situated by the Ria Formosa nature reserve, in an area which produces sea salt and has a myriad of wild life including water birds and pretty butterflies. The waterways are busy with yachts, fishing boats and ferries particularly in the summer when visitors hop across to the Island of Tavira for the long sandy beach. The Island also has a good choice of restaurants in an otherwise un-spoilt area of outstanding natural beauty. This apartment offers all the comforts of modern life while nestled in the old world charm of historical Tavira with its many restaurants, cultural events and the ferry to that famous beach at Ilha de Tavira. The apartment is also ideal to use as a base to explore the Algarve, its many beautiful beaches, traditional towns, water sports and the golf courses. Benamor golf is the nearest 18 hole golf course approx. 2,5 kilometer down the road. The golf courses of Quinta da Ria and Quinta de Cima are less than a 10 minute drive away. Faro airport is just 35 km away.

Clean spacious apartment, great location

The location of this apartment is perfect - 10 min walk to town centre. Plenty of space in the apartment - we were 4 adults. The pool is brilliant and quiet as there’s only 8 apartments in the building. The apartment was fully equipped but we didn’t really use the kitchen as we ate out at lunch and dinner time. Aircon was a godsend with temps at 30+ degrees. Worth purchasing the welcome pack from the agents if you arrive late at night. Comms efficient and timely. Highly recommended. Thanks Andy

Great apartment

Andy's apartment is everything we hoped it would be. Knowing Tavira quite well, we knew the location was perfect as we wanted to be in the centre of town where we wouldn't need a car.

The apartment itself is beautifully appointed, very well furnished with all modern appliances, such as washing machine, dishwasher, oven, tv, etc. The air con was a godsend and incredibly efficient. The beds are really comfortable and we enjoyed a good nights sleep every night (despite a cockerel crowing from 6am onwards!).

The pool is a real bonus in the centre of Tavira, and the terrace is great for entertaining, although we never got around to using it, due to coming off the beach too late!

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the apartment and we would be very happy to come here again when we next visit Tavira.

Great base for our Tavira holiday.

This is the third year we have been to Tavira as we love it. This apartment was an ideal place to stay being only a couple of minutes walk to the main town area. The apartment itself was lovely and equipped with all you could want. It was roomy and very pleasantly decorated and the air conditioning was invaluable. The pool was surprisingly large and the roof terrace was a lovely place to chill although we did not make that much use of it or the BBQ as we ate out each evening in the lovely restaurants in the centre. All in all a very enjoyable holiday and we would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. The information booklet doesn't tell you where the nearest supermarket is which may be worth updating. And for future guests information the nearest (very small and local) supermarket is behind the car park opposite the apartment to the left. We didn't find it until the last couple of days of our holiday and it would have been useful to have known this earlier.

Beautiful apartment!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment and in Tavira. Extremely large and very well equipped and comfortable. The apartment is located on the first floor and the lovely rooftop terrace is on the third but there is a lift.

The apartment would easily accommodate 6 people in the 3 large bedrooms and their is plenty of storage.

Located less than ten minutes from the Roman Bridge in the centre of Tavira with an abundance of restaurants, cafes, bars, shops etc.

If you have a car there is a free public car park opposite the apartment and we had no problems find a space here during our stay.

The train and bus station are close by as are large supermarkets and a big shopping centre.

We had a great time here and would not hesitate to recommend Andy's apartment.
