South Kensington is in walking distance up Sloane Avenue with several world famous brands on this route, including Chanel and Stella McCartney as well as The Conran Shop. This route also puts you in walking distance of from some of London’s main museums – Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum. London’s main sights – Buckingham Palace, Westminster, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, London’s theatres, the Tower of London and much more are easily accessed quickly and direct from either Sloane Square or South Kensington tube stations – both a short walk from your apartment.
Your comfortable townhouse has wooden flooring throughout the very spacious Ground Floor Lounge with a flat screen TV, Freeview channels as well as Free WiFi and Broadband (internet from 19th October 2016). The Lounge has a large, ‘L’ shape sofa and armchair in front of a lovely fireplace with a working gas fire. The staircase leads up one floor to the Master Bedroom and ensuite bathroom whilst a few steps down lead to the Second Bedroom and several more lead to the Lower Ground Floor kitchen and dining area. The recently added (April 2017) Third Bedroom is close to the Master Bedroom. Windows at both ends of the Lounge make this a bright and lively area. The rear facing window overlooks the private garden.
The Master Bedroom has a Queen size Double Bed and built-in wardrobe with plenty of hanging and drawer space for any length of stay. The Master Bedroom is carpeted and 2 large windows make this very bright during the day. The unusually large ensuite bathroom has a bath tub and a separate shower cubicle as well as toilet and wash-hand basin. Free toiletries are provided in both of the bathrooms.

The immediate area of your townhouse has numerous shops, restaurants and coffee shops. There is a choice of supermarkets within a few minutes’ walk including a Marks & Spencer Food Hall. If you decide to go out to eat, you will find yourself spoilt for choice from the wide range of restaurants close by in King’s Road, Sloane Square and in South Kensington. There is a lovely coffee shop and patisserie - ca'uppuchino - just down King’s Road at Markham Square serving great coffees and teas, some wonderful juice shakes and a great range of pastries and more. Across King's Road, is from ca'uppuchino is reportedly the best ice cream shop in London.
Your townhouse is situated for you to get the best out of the elegant small town atmosphere of Chelsea, which is still alive and well. King's Road Chelsea came to recent fame in the '60's and '70's when the Beatles and others bought their clothes in trendy boutiques there. Now it is transformed into one of the most elegant streets in London, with great clothes shops for adults and for children from some of the top brands, beautiful Georgian houses, elegant garden squares, great restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Down many side streets, you will find lovely mews houses and large garden squares, giving the whole neighbourhood the feel of a small town. Despite this, you are just 4 minutes' walk from Sloane Square station, giving you easy access to the rest of central London. South Kensington, with an even greater choice of restaurants and most of London's main museums, is within easy walking distance up Sloane Avenue.
The closest tube station is Sloane Square (4 minutes' walk) for the District and Circle Lines. You can also go to South Kensington (10 minutes' walk) where you will find the Piccadilly, District and Circle Lines.
