Great Location

Location! Location was very good. Just 5 minutes Russel Square Tube Station. We just stayed 6 days at home. Paul is good guys. We were 7 people. Home is nice. The British Museum is a few blocks...Thank you Charlie and Camran.

Holidays in London with my family

We spent in the flat located at Gilford street a very nice week with my family. We were four people and the flat was perfect for us with two bedrooms and two bathrooms .The flat has everything you need . Very well located , very close to a tube station and King' s Cross . Lots of shops and supermarkets nearby. Ir is a perpect flat to enjoy a holidays in London because lots of interesting places and Oxford Street aré very near and you can go walking.We couldn't go to the gym because We were really tired after a long journey of sightseeing .We ' ll recomend it to our friends , and if We come back to London , We surely rent that flat. Charle was very nice with us . Thanks a lot .

This is not luxury!

From the minute you enter the front door, you realize that this is NOT luxury....the hallway is dirty, there are holes in the walls, and there is no lighting (good luck trying to get into the flat at night). We stayed in the "garden" flat. The garden consists of one rusty bench and a couple of plastic chairs surrounded by overgrown weeds, scaffolding and a big hole in the decking.

Although the flat is as pictured, these pictures do not show the dinginess of the flat. There were 9 lights out in the flat which we were told would be addressed but never were in the two weeks we were there. The toilet seat was broken in one bathroom and the shower doors were broken in the second bathroom. As well, the piping in the second shower was coming out of the wall. We were told all these items would be addressed, but they weren't.

You are told to take off your shoes so as not to dirty the floors and carpets. The carpets were so stained we didn't want to walk on them in our bare feet. The bedding was very worn and the duvets had large holes in them. We actually went out and bought bedding as we wouldn't sleep on the bedding provided (when I removed the bedding I actually found an old toothbrush and crayons in the bed). We also washed all the dishes before using them as we found several dirty dishes in the cupboards.

Strangely there is no door knob on the front door. If you are going out you have to put your key in the lock and try to pull the door closed. It is very awkward.

Unless you buy a started kit from the property managers, NOTHING is provided. They want you to keep the flat clean but there is not a dish towel, paper towel, any cleaners or even any toilet paper provided.

We have stayed in other flats in London and have always been very pleased with the flats. This was a real disappointment!

The reason we gave it two stars was because it was well located, the showers were hot and the beds were comfortable (once we put our own linens on them). This flat is very close to UCL and we believe it has been used as a student let in the past.

Wonderful experience! Great flat

We have spent some wonderful days in the department of Holborn . The web advertisment describes as it is,only that just to get there: it's better ! It is spacious, bright , comfortably furnished. We were 4 people , my husband and I and my two children aged 28 and 13 years and much, much baggage , indeed the appartment was roomy and comfortable . Charlie 's attention was excellent , caring and very friendly. The apartment is very well located , we were walking everywhere , little used underground . The British Museum is a few blocks , and 3 stops from Camden underground . The neighborhood is beautiful and we loved just going out the door and walk in any direction. As it is located very close to Coram Fields, a large park , the air is clean and gives a feeling of tranquility, even being a few blocks from the center of London. We used to buy food made in Tesco, a supermarket in Russell Square with excellent quality and good prices that solved that issue for. Some details that we would like to point out small , but the kind of things that make the difference when you are travelling: on arrival , we found updated London tourist guides awaiting us. Everything works. Once, my husband arrived early ,without his key, and Charlie was extremely friendly and went to open the door to him. We didn't use the water pool or the gym, because we were exhausted when we returned to the flat after walking and enjoying the city. We loved London and when we return back, we will of course stay in "our " house in Holborn. We will recomend FindaFlat and particularly the Holborn flat to our family, collegues and friends

An excellent choice

Hi, we are a family of five and this apartment was large enough for all of us. It has everything you may need for your stay in London and it is in excellent condition. The location is undoubtedly the best feature of it. Only a few steps away from the British Museum and very close to stores,supermarkets and pubs.The Russell square tube station is only a few blocks away and also the King Cross St. Pancras railway station. The gym is really very good and the pool as well and gives you a very good opportunity to relax after or before your daily activity.

Charlie,who we dealt with,was very helpful in every single detail. I strongly recommend this apartment.
