Compignano is a delightful medieval village with no more than 100 Inhabitants. There is a coffee / bar in the main square and a small supermarket open twice a week. During the Christmas and the New Year period, the village plays host to a charming and well-known live nativity event in cui locals dress up and re-enact the times of Christ. Very worthwhile seeing and one-of-a-kind!
