Hello we are Licia and Antonio,
a couple of painters decorators. We deal with set design and interior decoration.
Our house is inspired by our need for intimate and cozy, a place to start, but to go back to find warmth and relaxation.
We love traveling, discovering the world surprised, knowing places of art, enjoy good food, host friends.
Antonio was a wonderful host who spoke excellent English. He answered all my questions via email, was there when we arrived and explained everything about the property and area. He also was available via telephone if needed.
The apartment was beautifully decorated, very large and looked exactly as the photos. It had all the amenities you could ask for except a clothes dryer. The beds were typical European - very hard! All of the windows opened and provided plenty of sunlight. The washing machine was great (plenty of detergent in the xloset). We hung our heavy clothing over the radiators and they were dry by morning. Everything you needed to cook was in the kitchen - pots, pans and utensils. Antonio had milk, juice, eggs and fruit there when we arrived - very nice of him. There was also coffee, tea, sugar and other condiments that other people had left.
The apartment is really only 3-5 minutes (walking) from the Metro station which made it extremely convenient. It is one stop from Termini Station and 2-3 stops from all the tourist sights like the Spanish Steps, the Coliseum, Trevi Fountain etc. There is also a nice supermarket - Conad - about 2 blocks away.
We did have a problem though, there was renovaton going on in the apartment above when we were there - May 1, 2016 - and going on the entire time we were there. I believe Antonio should have contacted us and given us the opportunity to cancel because of the horrendous noise (heavy machinery and hammering all day from 8 a.m. to 5-6 p.m. in the evening). It was obvious the construction had been going on for awhile. Because of all the heavy banging etc., the hot water heater was damaged and we lost the hot water every day. To his credit, Antonio did have the plumber there everyday to fix it but it was still very inconvenient.
FYI- this apartment is not in a lovely neighborhood. We felt safe but the streets were very dirty and there were homeless people sitting outside the door. It could be due to the close proximity to Termini station. It's too bad it isn't in another neighborhood. However, convenience (Metro stop, market and the great apartment) was more important to us so it worked out just great. We would certainly return there and recommend it to our friends as we just loved the apartment and Antonio was great. Thanks Antonio, for a great stay!
Appartamento davvero molto bello e dotato di tutti i confort.

We had a great experience staying here on our first ever visit to Rome. Overall, this place was clean, comfortable and was in a great location. Antonio was very nice and welcoming. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Rome.
Thanks Antonino to share your appartament with us. The children enjoyed a lot with the toys.
The appartament is only a few minutes walk from the Vittorio Emanuele Metro station so easy to get around. Antonino provided an excellent and comprehensive briefing, local map and information on the best places to eat, shop and visit.
The Colesseum and Roman Forum are less than 15 minutes by walk.
The vatican are 15 minutes by metro.
We walked around the city center and enjoyed Rome.
- Piazza Spagna (40 minutes)
- Fontana de Trevi. (Excelent forno)
- Pantheon (There are excelent restaurants)
The appartament is very nice and confortable.
Thanks Antonino again.
See you in rome in the next visit.
