Lovely, well-appointed modern home!

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Leoty's lovely vacation home which had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. We have stayed at holiday homes for the past 10 years around the world, but no one was so well-equipped as this for cooking, barbeque-ing and enjoying a restful vacation. The home is spacious and tastefully decorated with quality furniture and appliances. Mrs. Leoty was very kind, friendly and helpful and we warmly recommend this home to all!

De retour au lac Chambon !

Et oui, nous revenons au lac Chambon, 4 ans après notre première visite et encore chez la famille LEOTY pour leur sérieux, leur bonne humeur et la très bonne tenue de leurs locations. Après avoir séjourné au chalet Le Clos en 2012, nous avons opté pour le gîte les Charmes Est avec ses 3 chambres spacieuses, toujours très propre à la remise des clés mais c'est une tradition chez eux. Le lac à pieds, tout comme les commerces. Nous vous invitons à emmener vos vélos tellement le coin est sympa, nos filles de 6 et 3 ans ont adoré le lac, les structures de jeux et ses balades. Une météo très très clémente tout comme en 2012, histoire de convaincre ceux qui ne jure que par la Méditerranée !

Merci à ma femme ainsi qu'à Odette et Carole pour m'avoir aidé psychologiquement à raccrocher mes vélos la veille du départ à 22h sur ma voiture, pendant votre récit "scolaire". A ces instits, elle sen ont des choses à raconter !!!

Super Sejour

Accueil exceptionnel, gîte très bien situé, tellement de sites magnifiques à voir aux alentours et de belles balades à pied. Sommes arrivés sous la neige, le lendemain le lac et les paysages environnants tout de blanc vêtus, c'était magique. Adresse fortement recommandée. Un seul regret, qu'il ne soit plus possible d'utiliser la cheminée.

Owner's Response: La cheminée est provisoirement hors service et nous le regrettons. Cependant, le chauffage électrique est très performant et l'isolation thermique et phonique, d'une grande efficacité. Et d'autres installations pratiques, dont une grande véranda en façade arrière, font oublier cet aléa.

Parfait avec des enfants

Gîte très agréable (clair, calme), propre, fonctionnel (tout le matériel nécessaire était à disposition pour nos enfants de 10 mois et 3 ans). Nous y avons passé un long weekend au mois de mai (valable au départ de Paris, environ 4h de route) et avons pu profiter à fond de la région (randonnées en vallée de Chaudefour et sur les crêtes, autour du lac chambon) et même de la terrasse!

Un plus: une veranda à l'arrière du gîte pour entreposer les chaussures, vélos, skis, pour éviter de rentrer le matériel dans la maison.

Owner's Response: Effectivement, le SANCY est bien desservi par un faisceau d'autoroutes( dont A-89, 75, 71) qui en facilite l'accès quelque soit la saison. En HIVER, les services d'entretien des chaussées sont très performants.

Très bon séjour

Maison très agréable, spacieuse et baignant dans un calme reposant.

Le jardin et la terrasse sont parfait (si la météo y met du sien), avec du soleil et de l'ombre.

L'emplacement est bon, il y a beaucoup de choses à faire dans la région (le lac, Murol, St Nectaire, Pavin, le Mont d'Or, les fermes...). Il faut marcher un tout petti peu (dont 50m sur la grande route, mais avec trottoir) pour atteindre el lac.
