Higher Westcott farm is a 300 year old granite walled Devon longhouse, located in Dartmoor National Park, 3 miles from Moretonhamsptead. Westcott is a traditional English hamlet set in surrounding countryside, ancient woodland and rolling hills, 1,000 feet above sea level.
The house has been designed to offer a contemporary but still traditional environment, focusing on comfort and style, with wood burning stove and leather sofas.
Filled with sunshine in the morning and evenings with family and friends or just a book for company, the lounge offers leather sofas, tub chairs and window seats in which to enjoy a drink and the views.
Filled with sunshine in the morning or lit with candles at night this cosy room features a huge stone fireplace and a bespoke square oak dining table.
The stylish rooms feature sumptuous beds, Egyptian cotton and duck down duvets and window seats. Each room is a mix of old and new with exposed beams, double ended bath and a huge cherub mirror. Large recessed showers, en suite bathrooms and natural stone.
Higher Westcott's south facing walled garden offers stunning views of the countryside and woods. During the day children are safe to play on the lawn without wandering off and at night it's a wonderful place to watch the stars.
