A 3 bedroom character cottage in Alciston, East Sussex
Hunters Cottage is Grade II listed and is packed with appealing character features including exposed beams and an inviting inglenook fireplace in the living room. The kitchen diner looks out towards the garden and South Downs - you have a choice of cooking options with a Rayburn and regular oven available. Also on the ground floor is a shower room with WC. On the first floor are 2 bedrooms and the family bathroom. The principal bedroom has a double bed, and there is a single bedroom accessed via a small staircase (please note that this room has restricted head height and is more suited to a child than an adult). The family bathroom has a bath and separate shower. The third bedroom is on the top floor and this room has twin beds.
Outside is a good sized garden, which faces towards the South Downs, offering superb countryside views. A wonderful, relaxing location, Hunters Cottage is positioned well for walkers and families.
A charge of £25.00 per stay or per week, whichever is shorter, will be made for each dog (guide dogs for the blind and registered assistance dogs excepted). Please let us know if you will be bringing a dog with you. This property will accept a maximum of one dog.
The village of Alciston is set within the South Downs National Park, and is close by to attractions including Alfrison Clergy House, Firle Place, Drusilla's Safari Park and the Seven Sisters Country Park.
