About Heather

We've been married for 20 years and have 2 grown children. We came to the river for a boating trip with some friends 15 years ago. We used to be lake boaters, but from that day forward we were all about the river and haven't looked back. We moved to Stillwater specifically for the boating, but have fallen in love with the restaurants and the people.

We live on our boat most of the summer and for that reason are able to make our home available most of the boating season.

Heather purchased this house in 2010

Why Heather chose Minnesota

We decided on this home after months of searching. We knew as soon as we saw it this would be the one. It was built in 1890, but underwent some remodeling and we continue to make improvements. We love this house and hope you enjoy it too.

What makes this house unique

This home is located close to downtown shopping and restaurants. It offers open views and is a great place to catch a baseball game from the front porch in the summer.

If you have any specific items you would like to request for your stay (grocery, liquor, etc.) please let us know and we will try to accommodate.

Comfortable Home Base for Wedding Weekend

  • 5 of 5

This wonderful home had everything we needed to be comfortable while we were in Stillwater for our daughter's wedding. The layout worked well for the 3 generations of family staying here. A king and queen bedroom along with a full bath upstairs, plus a full bedroom and another full bath downstairs that also included a washer and dryer if needed.

The kitchen was beautifully updated and provided anything you might need to make a meal. Outside there is room to park 4 cars. The front porch has 4 comfy chairs that we really enjoyed after coming back after the rehearsal dinner.

I highly recommend this home!

Wonderful home! The house is very clean and well kept, downtown Stillwater is just a short distance away. Worth every penny to have our own private space to come back and relax! Thanks for the great stay!

Charming home in historic Stillwater. Very clean, welcoming home. Can't wait to return!

  • 5 of 5

Our girls weekend away started off by the owners warm greeting at their home. Our first impressions were very positive! The house was extremely clean and welcoming. The area is very quiet and just a quick drive or walk to downtown Stillwater. We unfortunately didn't get to utilize the fire pit or outside space due to weather but overall we all loved this property! We would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you!

Ladies' Weekend

  • 5 of 5

Met & welcomed by owner upon arrival. 3 bedroom/2 baths--perfect size house for the 3 of us, perfect weather for exploring Stillwater, perfect long weekend! Private back yard/patio for sitting around knitting, quilting, snacking & chatting. We ate out every meal (on vacation after all!), but the kitchen would have been great if we *had* felt like cooking. Nice walk to downtown--the town's crazy steep stairs were a bit of a challenge on the way back up, but that had nothing to do with the house--you don't *have* to use the city stairs--pretty view of river & town from the top however.
