A dreamy location and stylish, rustic yet modern cottage
A dreamy location and stylish rustic yet modern cottage.
The most beautiful location and endless acres of pasture surrounding the quaint deceptively spacious cottage. The garden also amazing in its own right.
We had a difficult time leaving the place every day and missed many things on our itinerary because we were just so comfortable.
Laid back management with all amenities provided. No issues whatsoever.
Seriously only good things to say about this place.
Thank you very much Henny and John!
Amazing quiet location
Our stay here was lovely, the cottage has everything you could want and the location is fantastic waking up to the deer fields and surrounding scenery is like on a postcard, pictures just cannot do it justice. We also took our dog who loved the area and the garden was totally secure for him to run around without worrying about him getting out. I would recommend this cottage.
Great location for peace and quiet and still close to the city.
The location is in the middle of nowhere but that is a plus as well as a negative.
sadly the shower was not useable whilst we were there. Think there was a problem with the plumbing and then on the 2nd day I think the heating died on us. Again that did have a knock on effect with the hot water, as a family of 5 it was difficult.
The owners were good as they chopped extra wood and gave us portable radiators.
We are very grateful for your patience and understanding with the boiler and shower issues that we were blighted with this week. I do hope the extra wood, radiators and compensation payment went some way towards mitigating the inconvenience and hope that you might consider coming back to visit the farm again some time in the future.
Spacious, well equipped, beautiful, warm, comfortable
We had a lovely time in this beautiful, fully-equipped and comfortable home
Amazing cottage together with spectacular views
We stayed at this cosy cottage on boxing day for 5 nights, cottage was amazing with a mixture of modern and vintage decor. We were made very welcome by the owners who went the extra mile during our stay. Our stay was made even more magical as it snowed, we were taken on a tour of the deer farm, went sledging on the farm and to top it off a good snowball fight with the family. We had the perfect stay whilst in Scotland, we would definitely recommend this cottage to anybody seeking to get away from it but also near to Edinburgh if you want visit.
