This lovely cottage is in an amazingly rural setting considering how close one is to Edinburgh. The atmosphere inside is so cosy and peaceful and the kitchen and bathroom are well-equipped and easy to use. There are so many lovely places to visit nearby, especially Dalkieth and Vogrie Country Parks where the autumn colours were gorgeous.
Fantastic cottage in a picturesque environment!
Well equipped cottage with log burner. Really cosy and welcoming. Good access to Edinburgh attractions.
Another perfect stay!
Another great stay at the cottage with the welcome new addition of garden seating & improved wi-if.... it just keeps getting better! Thanks for helping us have the perfect catch up with family 😊
An absolute gem
Would definitely recommend anyone to book this cottage! Such an amazing find for our Scottish adventure! The pictures really do not do this property justice. The cottage also has a conservatory and a very large garden, which is secure for dogs. The deer farm opposite the cottage is an absolute treat, bit best of all is the reservoir. The reservoir is a short walk to get to and the property overlooks. The walk around the reservoir is beautiful and there is even a place to hire boats too. The cottage is well equipped and spacious. Not only as a base for exploring Scotland but as a great place to relax. Edinburgh is just a 30 min car journey so you get the best of both worlds being a good distance from shops and attractions but also nice and rural too. We can't wait to come back next year!
A dreamy location and stylish, rustic yet modern cottage
A dreamy location and stylish rustic yet modern cottage.
The most beautiful location and endless acres of pasture surrounding the quaint deceptively spacious cottage. The garden also amazing in its own right.
We had a difficult time leaving the place every day and missed many things on our itinerary because we were just so comfortable.
Laid back management with all amenities provided. No issues whatsoever.
Seriously only good things to say about this place.
Thank you very much Henny and John!
Great location for peace and quiet and still close to the city.
