Why Clare Parnell chose Padstow
Fisherman's Cottage is a charming cottage right in Padstow old town. It is full of character but at the same time very well equipped so that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. We only bought Fisherman's Cottage recently so don't have any ratings yet. To give you an idea of our high standards we have a second property at Polzeath (The Wheatstore Ref. 8164148) which is rated 5 Star from 24 reviews.
What makes this Cottage unique
Fisherman's Cottage is right in Padstow old town but set just back from the bustle and restaurants in a quiet mews of similar style cottages. Fisherman's Cottage is a real comfortable "home away from home" and a great place to retreat to after a busy day exploring wonderful Padstow and the surrounding area.

Homely cottage in a fabulous location
A lovely traditional Cornish experience staying in Fisherman’s Cottage. Very close to the town centre and everything else we needed to access. Parking was offsite but directions were crystal clear and the whole process very easy.
Padstow is a brilliant base for exploring Cornwall!
Delightful Padstow Cottage
We stayed for 3 nights at Fishermans Cottage in Padstow. Shame it wasn’t longer. We were greeted with a complimentary beer and some eclairs which was a lovely thought.
We were immediately impressed by the spotless nature of absolutely everything to do the the property.
Also nothing was missed in terms of the things we needed to make our stay successful. From cutlery to kitchen rolls, toilet rolls, many of the things we thought we would need to bring.
The location is fabulous, right on top of the harbour, we could walk there in a minute or less and we’re on top of all the bars, restaurants and shops we wanted to visit.
Yet it was so lovely and quiet.
Can’t speak highly enough of this Cottage and would recommend it to anybody that wants a cottage stay in Cornwall.
Fisherman's Cottage is ideally located one block from the centre of the village/port of Padstow. A very short and easy amble through the bushland and church gardens from the carpark. The wonderfully welcoming, light, bright and comfortable decor, ambience and setting at Fisherman's Cottage has you immediately relaxing into holiday mode! Dave and I thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and all it offers, the village and it's plethora of excellent cafes and restaurants...no wonder the village is known as 'Padstein'..!! Many shops and sights, great walks, excellent little Gin Bar ... easy to become a local. We'd not hesitate to recommend the cottage and will hopefully return one day. Many thanks to you both for the effort you've put in to make it so comfortable.
Love this lovely cottage, the location right in the centre of Padstow but very quiet. Equipped with everything you need , although we didn’t cook. Even toiletteries in the bathroom. Easy walk to the municipal car park. If we return to Padstow without our family again this perfect for two or three people,
Comfortable, clean and well equipped.
Very charming and cosy cottage with easy access to the centre and harbour. Everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.
