Built on the side of a hill, the 120 year old Trullo Mandorla has been extensively renovated to sympathetically combine the unique features of the original stone building with contemporary design. Wifi available.

The stylish and sophisticated interior ensures your stay is pampered. The beautiful restored stone, exquisite lighting, and luxurious bathrooms create a unique stay in a trullo. The trullo has 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 6, with 2 bathrooms, one of which is en suite. Staying at Trullo Mandorla means enjoying spacious and diverse external areas. Stunning Trullo and a great base to explore Puglia

  • 4 of 5

This is a spectacular renovation of a Trullo. We were a little unlucky the week we stayed and couldn't make full use of the outside spaces because the weather wasn't with us, but even so we managed to grab a little time to enjoy. The Trullo serves as a good base for the Puglia region and being able to visit beaches, towns and sights throughout the region. The accommodation is comfortable, clean and well equipped as well as having privacy and a good dose of peace and quiet - just what we were looking for.

Beautiful Trullo Mandorla

  • 5 of 5

We had the most amazing week at Trullo Mandorla. The location is breath-taking - set on the side of the hill surrounded by olive groves with the sea below. You can even look over the side of the pool and the sea is at eye-level! The outside eating and separate seating areas are inspired - we BBQ'd whenever possible, using the well equipped outdoor kitchen and we sat outside until late as everywhere was beautifully lit. The variety of local shops and grocers in Fasano meant we could shop like the Italians and avoid the usual queues at the supermarkets.

The pool area was spacious - the only slight downside was the size of the pool to accommodate our 3 exuberant children ( 2 teenagers and an 8 year old), but they enjoyed it and spent most of their time in it.

The interior has been tastefully fitted out with a modern kitchen, stylish bathrooms and comfy bedrooms with fluffy towels and crisp bedding. 2 of the bedrooms are under the Trullo cones, so it is very authentic.

Wifi was excellent and we could get great signal even by the pool - this went down really well with my oldest son!

Jo, Sarah and Nick were great to deal with-thanks for a fab holiday!

HEAVEN IN PUGLIA

  • 5 of 5

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful Trullo. We loved the scale of the property and had breakfast everyday on the front terrace, lunch by the pool and dinner in the magnificent outdoor dining area. The views were magnificent and far reaching which made for spectacular sunsets. Our favourite daytime haunt was Lido Santos where the mood was relaxed and friendly and the food wonderfully fresh an simple. We treated ourselves to a night out at Ristorante Grotta Palazzese at Polignano. It was our first trip to Puglia and we will definitely return.

Magnifique trullo

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful place to stay

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here for a week, this is a very comfortable, well maintained and clean house, with wonderful gardens, pool and an outdoor seating area with beautiful views over Olive trees to the coast only a few km away.

We were warmly welcomed by the caretakers, house was very well equipped and has all you need for a great holiday.

Plenty to see and do around the area, Alberobello, Lecce, caves at Castellana. Lots of places to eat good regional Italian cuisine and taste some lovely wines.

Would recommend highly didn't really want to leave.....

Notes:
Trullo Mandorla is built on the side of a hill and originally was an olive farm. This means the land has been terraced for the olives to be farmed on. There are many steep drops where the land is terraced which means that whilst children are welcome it is at your own risk. It is not recommended for younger children.
