A three bedroom holiday home in Pett, East Sussex.
With outstanding views across the Sussex coast and countryside, Sea Bank is a fabulous holiday home for up to five guests. A spacious and inviting living room, with French doors leading to the garden, has an open fire - perfect for those cooler evenings. There is a fully equipped kitchen diner, with doors to the terrace and outdoor seating area. Sea Bank has three bedrooms - one kingsize, one twin with an ensuite shower room, and one single. There is also a downstairs family bathroom. The garden is a good size and slopes deeply in places so please take care when outside. A path from the garden leads directly to the beach by a ten minute walk.
Sea Bank is both close to the beach and Hastings Country Park for clifftop walks, grassland, and heath, and woodland, glens covered with gorse and trees and nature trails. Along the coast you will find the vibrant fishing town of Hastings. Here you walk amongst the fishing boats or for a more cultural experience visit the Jerwood Gallery set amongst the old fishing huts. For a more traditional time, visit the amusements arcades along the seafront or enjoy a game of crazy golf. Just a 5 minute drive away is the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, where you can walk along the sea wall and out on to the marshes. You can choose to walk out to Camber Castle originally located on a shingle spit and where once it protected the towns of Rye and Winchelsea, before the sea receded. Although no longer open to visitors it is still a striking land mark worth a visit. The beach of Camber Sands is just a short drive away and has miles of sandy beach and dunes to explore. The historic, medieval Rye is about six miles away and a visit is a must. Get lost in the history of smugglers and browse the many antique shops along the quay and no visit is complete without a stop at one of the pretty tea rooms. Sea Bank is the perfect base for exploring all that 1066 Country has to offer, great beaches, castle, stately homes and beautiful gardens.

Sea Bank is situated in the village of Pett, with a village Post Office selling general provisions, two pubs, a popular tea room and a church. In the vicinity are spectacular cliff top walks, a local nature reserve and bird sanctuary. Hastings Country Park Nature Reserve, stretching from Hastings to Cliff End & Pett Level where it gives access to the beach, is a unique 660 acre area of maritime sandstone cliff, with a cliff top area of grassland and heath, woodland, glens covered with gorse and trees, nature trails and spectacular walks, one of which leads to the coast at Fairlight Glen.
Hastings is around 5 miles away and has a traditional seaside feel, with its bustling arcades and fresh fish stalls. Hastings Old Town is picturesque and quaint, with a mixture of antique shops, boutiques and cafes. The town is famous for the biggest beach fishing fleet in Europe and much of the tradition has been kept. The net drying huts and fishing fleet can be found on the beach today, along with the many fresh fish stalls. The Jerwood Gallery and The Shipwreck and Coastal Heritage Museum are worth a visit.
The Medieval town of Rye is 5 miles away and a visit to the Heritage Centre is a must, where you can watch the Town model's 'Sound and Light' show, which goes into detail about the history and the colourful past of Rye and its inhabitants. Or amble around the many antique shops in the Strand Quay and hunt out a bargain!

Or visit the rock pools at low tide on the pebbly beach at Pett Level, just a 10 minute downhill stroll from Sea Bank.
The Town of Ashford is about a thirty minute drive and If you wish to take a day trip to the continent the Eurostar can be picked up from Ashford International station and trains to Paris, Lille and Brussels are available. Alternatively the ferries run from Dover just 45 minutes away or the Channel Tunnel from Folkestone a 45 minute drive.
