Second floor apartment at the highly prestigious Lodosol Holiday complex. Complete with private, secure underground parking, with lift and stair access to the apartment. Pushchair, wheelchair friendly with ramps and lifts to all of the main areas. Especially of interest to families with smaller children, the complex is walled and gated for added security. The swimming pool has a walled kiddie pool area within. Also within the pool is a jacuzzi area for relaxation. Sun loungers in apartment for use by the pool. Showers beside the pool area. Well maintained garden areas surround the pool. On site bar and restaurant, with entertainment. Ten minutes drive from Murcia airport, less than five minutes walk to local shops, bars and restaurants and less than ten minutes walk to the sandy, blue flag beach of Playa De Villananitos on the Mar Menor.

The apartment has a ceiling fan in each bedroom and the sitting room. There is an air conditioning unit fitted within the living room.

We also try to ensure that the kitchen contains everything you may need including wine opener, can opener and an iron and ironing board. There are plenty of towels supplied and also a few beach towels should you require.

The apartment has an intercom system. A travel cot is supplied with bedding. On the roof area there are several barbecue's with sinks adjacent and washing lines for drying clothes.

Check in 4pm and check out 10am.

Pick up and drop off at the airport can be arranged, this is 20 euro each way. We can also organize golfing trips to and from the apartment using six or seven seater vehicles. There are two golf courses within 10 min drive from the apartment, and 5 more within a 30 min drive.

Car: Not necessary

Lo Pagan (LP) & San Pedro Del Pinatar (SPDP) are local districts in easy walking distance of the complex. LP is a beach resort at the head of the Mar Menor, combining two blue flag beaches, Playa De Villananitos & Playa La Puntica. SPDP is a small traditional Spanish town with many shops restaurants & a main Plaza. Around Murcia on the Costa Calida there are many beaches, golf courses & places of interest. La Manga beach Club, Las Salinas nature reserve & wildlife sanctuary & Las Charcas; the hot water Mud Baths with its world famous 'healing properties'. The local resorts are perfect for any age & ability whether interested in active water / beach sports or bathing and relaxing at a typical Spanish pace. The waterfront promenade stretches for miles from LP to the Airport passing numerous marinas proving most popular for daytime & evening strolls taking in its many cafes, bars & restaurants. The healthy, relaxed lifestyle can only be understood when experienced on your next holiday.

Golf: In the Mar Menor area there are a great many golf courses, some of which are competition courses. The famous La Manga beach club is probably the most well-known. Campoamar, Villamartin, Murcia & the new Polaris golfing holiday resort recently completed are all in easy access for the budding or avid golfers.

Lovely family holiday

Great apartment with everything you need for a lovely family break including bats/balls, beach mats and lost of beach towels and blankets. Good wifi and great TV options if you want it. Pool is great and empty in the mornings and open till late. Tom the keyholder/transfer provider could not have been more helpful, informative and friendly making sure we could contact him at anytime - even if we got lost!! The only comment is that a car would have been useful to explore further afield as we did a lot of walking however we do like to explore!! Thanks Rose for all the information before we arrived it made us pack sensibly for a family with a small baby!!

Well maintained in nice apartment complex

The apartment has everything necessary for a nice break. Tom and Isobelle who look after the property are lovely and very helpful. The only downside is the distance from the town and beach so a car is really a necessity especially if you have children. The pool is great and well maintained but we were disappointed that the bar/shop area in the complex is now closed.

Home from home is quiet location

The location is very Spanish with a few Scottish & Irish Throw in the mix. Appartment was home from home. Good clean order with ceiling fan and air con only used air con I night ceiling fans were enough. Big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids , inside 1 wardrobe we found beach buckets. Inflatable and such we left a few more bit too.

BEACH : If you come out of build and turn left and straight left flow road to a kiddies park go straight passed into that side road and than right and follow the road are be on the beach

AMGOS BAR: come out of building turn right and on to drift track by bin follow that track becomes a road right and you at the bar plus other shops and restaurants

POOL: there are new rules no

One followed them no inflatables . Noise , balls blur blur we were question once so me sound not understand and we even a naughty flask of wine by pool side

Isobel : your contact there and her hubby and lovely very helpful just ask

Owners could not do enough to put my mind st rest and refund my deposit with in 24 hours of being home

Tv is Amazon although we never used it who needs tv when on holiday

Internet ok

Blue pull along shopping trolley we named DAVE is great to food shopping and days at the beach

My only thought was a few board games would be nice

And if you arriving late remember to grab a few bits , self catering mean limit loo roll, water, tea & coffee . What ever the last guests have left. I would of paid extra for a welcome pack with wine , bread, crisps , loo roll. Water, Shower gell ect in . Isobel did do a quick stop so we could grab water

Less than €1 a bottle of wine €3 for water , choose well. Drink wine

Lovely apartment in a quiet and safe location.

 Hubby and I arrived beginning of Sept. We were kindly received by  Ian, the  " keyholder" and his lovely wife! None left the place until all our " How to do's" questions were answered and we felt comfortable. Lovely apartment indeed in a very quiet and SAFE  location. Clean enough with beautiful colorful shining floors.  Spacious enough for medium size family. Small kitchen with everything you can posible need for your stay. Enough bed linen and towels. STRONG WIFI signal.  You do need a car if you don't like walking. Hubby and I walked everywhere. I would say good 15 - 20  min.( approximately)  one way,  to grocery stores, bus station , beaches and main restaurants and attractions. Fine with us because we love walking. Still do recommend a car. Make sure you know how  to work the TV remote, the washer and the AC before Ian leaves. After a few attempts, we gave up on the TV because the sports channels kept cutting off.  Who needs to watch TV in Spain anyway! The AC works on coins (1 euro/2 hrs AC time) It was hot as hell in Sept! We kept putting money in the AC but it never did cool down. It was cooler to stay outside than it was in the house!  We drank water like crazy to prevent dehydration. We notified Ian.  The AC tech did come the next day, said the entire  system was broke but couldn't fix it then.  Hopefully it's fixed by the time I am writing this review. Make sure you have enough 1 euro coins!!! There are ceiling fans throughout but they didn't do good enough job as it was so hot still in the month of September.

There's a squeaky noise coming from the water pipes system sporadically. It can be annoying.

Other than that, the owner very easy to communicate with, lovely apartment and I couldn't say thanks enough to the " keyholder" Ian and his wife Ria for making our stay very enjoyable. Thank you.

Not fit for purpose

Nice size & well equipped apt. Good location. Almost everything you touched was broken . . .we had no hot water for two days, shutter & curtain broken in main room. No lights working in hallway and second bedroom. Air con is on a meter and blows out warm air. Pipe creeking 24/7. Toilet flooded the shower room............Nightmare - Would not recommend as it ruined my week in San Pedro.😠򘀽򘈠

Home from Home

We've recently returned from a weeks stay, there were 4 adults and a baby in our party and found the apartment to cater for all our needs. Travel cot, plenty of towels, hairdryer etc , just like a home from home.

The apartment is in a great location there is a supermarket 5-10 minutes away (walking), beaches on the Med to one side and beaches on the lake to the other again all within walking distance. We had a pram and found the pavements were all pretty good for getting around with it.

There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, We would recommend El Rincon Itialiano for evening meals and birds of paradise cafe for breakfast/lunch.

We are likely to return as it is a great place to visit and an ideal location for hiring a car to explore other parts of Spain.
